There are still very few Tet-themed songs available.

Compared to previous years, the number of works related to the theme has increased. Tet There are fewer songs this year. Currently, the song "Tet Ve Di Con" (Come Home for Tet, My Child), a collaboration between Ngo Kien Huy and rapper Karik (Pham Hoang Khoa), is receiving attention.

In this music video, viewers will hear the familiar voice of actor Truong Giang leading the way in the opening segment. The actor plays a character urging viewers to go home for Tet (Lunar New Year) and reunite with their families, because nothing is more precious than having parents and someone waiting for them every spring.

"Tet Ve Di Con" (Come Home for Tet, My Child), composed by Dilan Vu (Nguyen Vu Khanh), currently has around 2.7 million views. This isn't a huge achievement compared to many other songs, but for Tet-themed music, this number is quite good.

On the "race" of Tet music, musician and singer Bui Cong Nam remains a highly sought-after artist by brands. To date, Bui Cong Nam has participated in "This Tet, My Child Is Grown Up," a collaboration with Tang Phuc; "Tet 'Troublesome' Still Loved," based on the original song "Tet Dong Day, Tet at Home Is Priceless"... Following that, there's "Spring is Coming" by Nal (Ho Phi Nal); and Huong Ly with a series of music videos covering familiar songs such as "Doan Xuan Ca," "Pho Xuan," and "Nu Cuoi Xuan"...

Soobin Hoang Son has released his latest musical product after a series of successes on the reality TV show "Brother Overcoming a Thousand Obstacles". It's the Tet (Lunar New Year) music video "Em ơi, anh nhớ nhà" (My Dear, I Miss Home), a collaboration with Tien Cookie, which has already garnered nearly 350,000 views in less than a day since its release.

BOF is a music group formed after the reality show "Brothers Overcoming a Thousand Obstacles," consisting of 5 members: Jun Pham, BB Tran, ST Son Thach, Kay Tran, and Bui Cong Nam.

After a period of preparation, the boy band BOF launched their pre-debut project as a gift to the audience who have loved and supported them throughout their journey of "Overcoming a Thousand Obstacles." The group's first song is titled "Tet Dinh Noc" (Tet at the Peak), aiming to convey a positive message about family reunion.

This is a musical product composed by Bui Cong Nam. The song impresses with its simple lyrics, calling on those who have been away from home to return to their families after a year of hard work. Instead of choosing a gentle, melancholic melody, BOF decided to create an arrangement with a cheerful feel, evoking the festive atmosphere of Tet (Lunar New Year).

The music video filming process also brought many new experiences to the members. Jun Pham said that this project was full of interesting things.

It can be seen that Tet music in 2025 is quite diverse in themes and genres, ranging from lively and soulful to messages of reunion and family gatherings... However, according to statistics, only about 5-7 songs will be released while there is less than a month left until Tet 2025. Thus, this year, the number of Tet songs is still quite limited.

We need more songs with meaningful messages.

Besides the issue of quantity, it must be acknowledged that Tet music videos in 2025 are less emotionally impactful than in previous years. With less than a month until Tet, many viewers still hope for more diverse songs with different messages and stories. However, according to one songwriter, the economy remained challenging last year, so some companies shifted their promotional methods and stopped commissioning Tet songs for music videos.

As for the artists and their teams, if they can't find sponsors, it's difficult for them to produce Tet music videos, because the production costs are considerable, while the product only appears for a short time before being released. music market They will shift their focus to products for post-Tet holidays like Valentine's Day.

Therefore, many artists choose to postpone making Tet music videos, dedicating their resources to other times of the year.

The 2025 Lunar New Year music scene needs more songs to enhance the festive atmosphere and meet audience demand. Simultaneously, songs with meaningful messages and compelling stories are always what audiences crave during the spring season.
