A series of new songs

Wxrdie and JustaTee are joining the Lunar New Year music race with their cinematic MV "Returning Home," which features a family theme but with a unique style. The song has a gentle, warm melody, like a tribute to their parents from these two rappers.

"Coming Home" is a harmonious blend of authentic aspects of Wxrdie's life and his genuine inner feelings, portrayed through cinematic cinematography. All of this creates a captivating viewing experience.

This is a meaningful song for all children and parents alike, reminding us of the value of every moment of reunion and togetherness, where all the worries of life become lighter.

Besides music videos, Tet music shows are also organized. Gala Vietnamese music Noo Phuoc Thinh has just released the music video for "If You're Too Hard, Come Home and Let Mom Support You." The song has a fast tempo, with lyrics expressing the feelings of a son who feels lost and weary in the glamorous city with its overwhelming workload, longing to return to his hometown, where his parents are waiting and where he can enjoy the most familiar and cherished moments. The end of the song is a message from the mother to her son, saying he doesn't need to bring money home, just that the whole family can be together.

The music video "Tet Vo Ve" by Dong Nhi, Jun Pham, and Bui Cong Nam has garnered nearly 2 million views on YouTube. This song, also composed by Bui Cong Nam, expresses the feelings of children wanting to return home to their families, leaving behind their unfulfilled dreams. Besides its catchy, youthful melody with a touch of melancholy, the MV also moves viewers with its emotionally charged images of family reunions during Tet.

Singer Thanh Dat introduced "This Tet, I'm Away From Home." The song has a melancholic melody expressing longing for family. It reflects the feelings of a child far away who cannot return home to celebrate Tet with their parents. Many listeners said they were moved after hearing the song, seeing their own stories in it.

Singer Duc Phuc joins the Lunar New Year music race with "This Tet, Let Me Take Care of It," a new composition by Kai Dinh. He recreates a scene of Tet in the past, with the joy of a child with their family. The latter part of the song expresses the thoughts and concerns of a grown child taking care of their parents. With a cheerful and youthful melody, although the story has a touch of melancholy, it still brings a feeling of joy to the listener.

Actor Duy Khánh releases music video "I'm Home for Tet". The actor recreates a picture of Tet through simple, relatable lyrics expressing the joy of a child returning home, along with a promise of success in the new year.

Singer Ngoc Anh has released the music video "Joyful Spring," recreating the lively village festival scene as spring arrives with its unique cultural features. Nearly 100 actors from the Vietnam Traditional Opera Theatre participated in this music video, along with the singer's father and younger brother.

Emphasize the message of unity.

Message of reunion, family reunion Every year, songs are chosen as the theme for Tet (Vietnamese Lunar New Year) music. However, compared to previous years, this theme is more dominant this year. If we consider nearly 20 Tet songs released in 2025, up to 80% are songs with themes of family reunion, longing for family, parents, grandparents, etc. It's understandable why singers choose this theme for their new songs during Tet. Most songs with this theme easily touch the emotions of listeners and go viral across social media.

This theme song is usually released about half a month before Tet (Lunar New Year), creating a sense of anticipation and longing to return home to be with family for the year-end meal and welcome a warm new year.

However, it's important to note that this theme shouldn't be overused, leading to overly melancholic music videos that create a heavy feeling for the listener, which can sometimes be counterproductive. At the beginning of the year, everyone should focus on positive and refreshing things.
