Many pillar stocks break out, VN-Index increases nearly 6 points

NDO - On April 25, the market was upbeat right from the opening, but due to the inactive trading of bluechip stocks and the widespread red on the electronic board, the main indices reversed and decreased from the end of the morning session. In the afternoon session, the buying force returned, in which large stocks such as: VJC, VNM, MSN, VHM, GAS, MBB broke out and VIC maintained its upward momentum, helping the VN-Index recover, increasing by 5.88 points to 1,229.23 points at the close of the session.

In this session, VIC shares had the most positive impact on the VN-Index with an increase of more than 4.1 points. On the contrary, VCB was sold heavily and took away more than 1.3 points from the VN-Index.

On the HoSE floor, the matched order value this session increased sharply compared to the previous session, reaching more than 18,375.97 billion VND.

Foreign investors net sold approximately 591 billion VND on the HoSE. On the buying side, HPG shares were bought the most with a value of more than 87 billion VND, followed by MSN (64 billion VND), HDB (55 billion VND), GEE (26 billion VND)... On the contrary, FPT was sold the most (148 billion VND), followed by VIC (147 billion VND), STB (126 billion VND), VCI (64 billion VND)...

Today's session, the VN30 group of stocks closed with 15 stocks increasing, 2 stocks remaining unchanged and 13 stocks decreasing.

Of which, VIC increased the most when it hit the ceiling price of VND67,000/share, followed by VJC increasing by 6.18% to VND91,000/share, VNM increasing by 3.55% to VND58,300/share, MSN increasing by 3.51% to VND62,000/share, PLX increasing by 1.78%, GAS increasing by 1.74%, MWG increasing by 1.34%, MBB increasing by 1.29%, VHM increasing by 1.8%, GVR increasing by 1.06%.

Codes: BCM, FPT, HPG, SAB, TCB increased slightly.

Two codes: HDB, VRE stop at reference.

On the other hand, SSB decreased the most when it lost 2.69% to VND18,100/share, followed by STB down 2.61%, LPB down 2.12%, BID down 1.27%, VIB down 1.7%, VCB down 1.2%, ACB down 1.04%.

The remaining codes: BVH, CTG, SHB , SSI, TPB, VPB decreased slightly.

In terms of industry groups, steel stocks, except for SMC, jumped 4.9% to VND9,000/share, while the rest fluctuated slightly. Specifically, HPG, NKG, VCA increased slightly, DTL, HMC, POM stopped at the reference price, TLH decreased slightly, and HSG decreased 1.11%.

The group of securities stocks closed down slightly by 0.12%. Besides SSI mentioned above, BSI and VND also decreased by 1.34%, CTS decreased by 1.24%, VCI decreased by 1.04%, FTS, VIX decreased slightly. On the contrary, APG and ORS both increased to the ceiling price of VND 12,500/share and VND 8,340/share, respectively, DSE, HCM, TCI, TVS, VDS increased slightly, AGR, TVB stopped at the reference price.

Banking stocks also closed down 0.72%. In addition to the codes: ACB, BID, CTG, HDB, LPB, MBB, SHB, SSB, STB, TCB, TPB, VCB, VPB, VIB in the VN30 group mentioned above, other codes such as: EIB increased slightly, MSB decreased slightly, OCB decreased 1.9%, NAB increased 1.84%.

Meanwhile, the real estate group had many codes that improved, closing up 2.11%. Besides VIC and VHM mentioned above, other codes that increased strongly were: CKG, DRH, TDH increased to the limit, NBB increased 6.44%, NVT increased 3.67%. On the contrary, CRE decreased 2.05%, LGL decreased 4.7%, NVL decreased 3.98%, VRC decreased 3.97%...

Other stock groups such as: food-beverage and tobacco increased by 2.24%, consumer goods and decoration increased by 1.96%, transportation increased by 1.35%, energy increased by 1.33%, raw materials, software, distribution and retail of durable goods, utilities, and means of production increased slightly. On the contrary, telecommunications stocks decreased by 2%, insurance decreased slightly.

* The Vietnamese stock market index fluctuated quite strongly today, VNXALL-Index closed up 6.28 points (+0.31%), to 2,030.69 points. Liquidity of the whole market, with trading volume reaching 821.29 million units, corresponding to trading value reaching 19,990.04 billion VND. In the whole market, there were 184 stocks increasing in price, 107 stocks remaining unchanged and 163 stocks decreasing in price.

* At the Hanoi Stock Exchange, the HNX-Index closed at 211.72 points, up 0.65 points (+0.31%). Liquidity reached a total of more than 57.1 million units transferred, with a corresponding trading value of more than VND 799.07 billion. The entire floor had 88 stocks increasing, 60 stocks remaining unchanged and 75 stocks decreasing.

The HNX30 index closed down 1.57 points (-0.38%) to 413.4 points. Trading volume reached about 29.16 million units, with a corresponding value of more than VND530.44 billion. The HNX30 group of stocks ended the trading day with 11 stocks increasing, 9 stocks remaining unchanged and 10 stocks decreasing.

On the UPCoM market, the UPCoM Index increased, closing at 92.27 points, up 0.44 points (+0.48%). Market liquidity, total trading volume reached more than 71.02 million shares, corresponding trading value reached more than 654.76 billion VND. The UPCoM group of stocks ended the trading day with 207 stocks increasing, 117 stocks remaining unchanged and 139 stocks decreasing.

* At the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange, the VN-Index closed up 5.88 points (+0.48%) to 1,229.23 points. Liquidity reached over 855.13 million units, equivalent to a trading value of VND20,102.54 billion. The entire floor had 256 stocks increasing, 91 stocks remaining unchanged and 220 stocks decreasing.

The VN30 Index increased by 5.52 points (+0.42%) to 1,317.18 points. Liquidity reached over 424.86 million units, equivalent to a trading value of VND12,529.43 billion. The VN30 group of stocks ended the trading day with 15 stocks increasing, 2 stocks remaining unchanged and 13 stocks decreasing.

The five stocks with the highest trading volume were SHB (over 71.72 million units), MBB (over 40.71 million units), CII (over 25.33 million units), VIX (over 24.85 million units), HPG (over 24.84 million units).

The five stocks with the highest price increase were VAF (6.94%), ORS (6.92%), TYA (6.91%), LGC (6.90%), CKG (6.88%).

The five stocks with the biggest declines were L10 (-6.97%), TDW (-6.88%), CCC (-6.87%), HU1 (-6.86%), LGL (-4.70%).

* Today's derivatives market had 197,997 contracts traded, worth VND 25,948.61 billion.
