
The Hat Mon Temple Festival, honoring the merits of the Trung Sisters, is held from April 17th to 22nd (March 1st to 6th in the lunar calendar) with many solemn rituals interspersed with rich cultural activities.
Accordingly, the series of events began on April 17th (March 1st in the lunar calendar) with the opening ceremony of the temple. This was followed by activities to "welcome the festival" by the people and visitors from all over. Simultaneously, there were exhibitions of stalls showcasing typical OCOP products of the locality; a painting competition; and many unique folk cultural activities such as a folk song and traditional music festival at the Thuy Dinh stage; a water puppet show, etc.

Today, April 21st (the 5th day of the 3rd lunar month), the Hat Mon Temple Festival features solemn rituals and cultural activities such as traditional folk singing and folk sports like tug-of-war and stick pushing at the Oath Altar area...

Tomorrow morning, April 22nd (the 6th day of the 3rd lunar month), Hat Mon commune will hold a ceremony to offer incense in commemoration of the anniversary of the death of the Trung Sisters at the Dragon Courtyard. The procession will be organized on a large scale with the participation of many forces such as the dragon dance team, the red flag team, the drum and gong team, the sacred flag team, and the palanquin bearers.
In particular, the procession of glutinous rice cakes, a distinctive cultural feature of the Hat Mon Temple festival, was elaborately organized with the participation of the Monument Management Subcommittee and 10 villages in the commune, with each village mobilizing approximately 60 people to participate.
The Hat Mon Temple Festival contributes to honoring cultural heritage, educating about patriotic traditions, and promoting the image of Phuc Tho district to visitors from near and far.
