The 15-year journey of Lam Dong Aluminum Company is not just a journey of production and business aimed at generating profit. It is also a journey of overcoming difficulties, mastering technology, and optimizing production lines. This has led to a stable increase in operating capacity beyond the designed level.
The Lam Dong Bauxite-Aluminum Complex has a designed capacity of 650,000 tons of alumina per year, with a total investment of 15,414 billion VND, and began commercial operation on October 1, 2013. Since then, the converted alumina has consistently been of high quality and exported to many countries around the world, including India, South Korea, Japan, and Switzerland.

This has laid the foundation for the company to maintain stable production and sustainable development throughout the past and into the future.

According to the latest report, the cumulative results from the start of commercial production until September 30, 2025, show that the company has produced over 7 million tons of alumina equivalent. The profit earned after 12 years of commercial operation is estimated at nearly 3,000 billion VND. Furthermore, since its establishment, the company has contributed nearly 3,000 billion VND to the state budget. Currently, Lam Dong Aluminum Company provides employment for 1,339 workers with a monthly income of 19.5 million VND per person.

Furthermore, during its development, Lam Dong Aluminum Company, together with the Vietnam Coal and Mineral Industry Group (TKV), has contributed hundreds of billions of VND to invest in infrastructure development in mining areas, such as building roads, schools, community centers, and carrying out social welfare and humanitarian activities in Lam Dong province. This has made a positive contribution to the socio -economic development of the locality and built the company's image and brand in the Central Highlands region in particular and the whole country in general.
Striving for growth
Building on its achievements, in 2025, Lam Dong Aluminum Company sets targets in accordance with the production and business plan assigned by the TKV Group, including: refined ore production reaching 1,998,000 tons; converted alumina production reaching 741,000 tons; and alumina consumption reaching 685,000 tons, generating revenue of 3,397 billion VND.
According to projections, in 2025, Lam Dong Aluminum Company will contribute over 1,055 billion VND to the State budget, equivalent to 363% of the plan. Profits generated from production and business activities are estimated at 116.3 billion VND, equivalent to 352.4% of the plan.

According to Mr. Nguyen Van Phong, Director of Lam Dong Aluminum Company, in order to achieve the set targets, from the beginning of the year, the company has developed a plan and implemented several key tasks such as coordinating with local authorities to carry out land compensation and clearance to ensure timely and sufficient electricity for mining; continuing to manage technology well, maintaining stable and efficient operation of production lines throughout the Lam Dong Bauxite-Aluminum Complex.
In particular, the Company has effectively implemented the 90-day labor and production emulation movement in the first quarter of 2025, which was launched by Lam Dong Aluminum Company - TKV according to the joint plan dated December 23, 2024, between the General Director and the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Coal and Mineral Workers' Union. At the same time, it has implemented cost-saving measures, effectively managed production costs, and continued to ensure the production and business efficiency of the Company and the entire project.
In addition, the company continues to promote its digital transformation and automation program, putting into operation a smart production management and operation system, managing all production and business information in real time; developing information technology infrastructure and security systems according to standards, ensuring system security to meet the digital transformation process in production and business.
Alongside its production and business activities, Lam Dong Aluminum Company also pays special attention to safety and environmental protection in the mining area and throughout the entire factory. Environmental parameters are consistently monitored through a comprehensive monitoring system. The company also focuses on planting trees in vacant land and reclaimed areas; regularly maintaining and beautifying the premises of its units to meet the criteria of "Bright - Green - Clean" and the "Factory - Park" model.
