Bicycles carrying green dreams

Fifty new bicycles were presented to outstanding students who overcame difficulties to excel in their studies in Hoa Binh ward, Phu Tho province.

On November 14th, under the direction of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment , the Agriculture and Environment Newspaper, in coordination with the Ministry's Youth Union and the Vingroup Charity Fund, organized the "Helping Children Go to School" program.

This is a meaningful activity aimed at commemorating the 80th anniversary of the Agriculture and Environment sector (November 14, 1945 - November 14, 2025).

The gifts were handed directly to 50 students from 8 schools in Hoa Binh ward (Phu Tho province): Ly Tu Trong Secondary School, Dong Tien Secondary School, Quynh Lam Primary and Secondary School, Thinh Lang Primary and Secondary School, Trung Minh Primary and Secondary School, Le Quy Don Secondary School, and Huu Nghi Secondary School.

In the golden autumn sunlight, the children's joy sparkled in their eyes and radiant smiles. The new bicycles were a very practical encouragement, making the journey to school easier and motivating them to study hard and write their own bright future.

Ms. Dinh Thi Thu Hien, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hoa Binh Ward, shared: Looking back at the 80-year journey of building and developing the Agriculture and Environment sector, we increasingly appreciate the value of the spirit of "for the community," "serving the people" that generations of officials in the sector have persistently cultivated.

Today's program is a continuation of that tradition. The 50 bicycles presented today are not only a material gift but also a great source of encouragement, helping the children get to school more easily, confidently, and nurture their beautiful dreams. Teachers, families, and society are always watching over their steps. We hope that with this gift, the children will strive even harder, be well-behaved, study hard, become useful citizens, and contribute to building a more prosperous, beautiful, and civilized Hoa Binh province.

Ms. Vuong Lan Anh, Principal of Thinh Lang Primary and Secondary School, also expressed her gratitude to the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment for its affection and concern for the students of Hoa Binh ward, Phu Tho province. Every year, schools review the circumstances of disadvantaged students to provide support. Some are orphans, some lost their parents early, some are adopted, or some come from impoverished families... The support from the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment and sponsors is very timely, giving the students more strength to overcome their circumstances and study better.

According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Yen, Deputy Head of the Party Committee Office of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment: To celebrate the 80th anniversary of the establishment of the sector, the Party Committee of the Ministry organized many activities to express gratitude, remember the roots, and pay special attention to the younger generation. In Tuyen Quang, the delegation presented 80 gifts to children in difficult circumstances. Today, in Hoa Binh ward, the delegation continued to present 50 gifts to 50 students from 8 schools in the area. Although the material value is not great, this is a source of encouragement, helping the children to have more faith in pursuing their dreams and striving in their studies.

Each gift, each encounter, goes beyond mere support; it also conveys a message of sharing and community responsibility. With the support of family, teachers, and society, the students will grow into strong, knowledgeable, ambitious, and responsible citizens. The Party Committee of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment always places its trust in the younger generation, who will contribute to building a stronger, greener, and more sustainable nation.

To commemorate the 80th anniversary of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, the Party Committee of the Ministry directed the implementation of a series of key activities to spread the spirit of the 80th anniversary: ​​Organizing the admission of 80 outstanding individuals into the Party at the national historical site of the Ministry of Agriculture, Tuyen Quang province; holding a rally to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Ministry and the First National Emulation Congress of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment; inaugurating key projects to celebrate the occasion; and donating 50 bicycles to underprivileged students in Hoa Binh ward.

This is both a responsibility and an expression of affection from the Party Committee of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment and the local Party committees towards the younger generation, the future generation of the country in the new era.
