Bicycles carrying green dreams

50 new bicycles were given to outstanding students, examples of overcoming difficulties to study well in Hoa Binh ward, Phu Tho province.

On November 14, under the direction of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment , the Agriculture and Environment Newspaper coordinated with the Ministry's Youth Union, and the accompanying unit, Thien Tam Fund of Vingroup Corporation, to organize the program "Going to school with you".

This is a meaningful activity towards the 80th anniversary of the Agriculture and Environment sector (November 14, 1945 - November 14, 2025).

The gifts were given to 50 students from 8 schools in Hoa Binh ward (Phu Tho province): Ly Tu Trong Secondary School, Dong Tien Secondary School, Quynh Lam Primary and Secondary School, Thinh Lang Primary and Secondary School, Trung Minh Primary and Secondary School, Le Quy Don Secondary School, and Huu Nghi Secondary School.

In the golden autumn sunshine, the joy of the children sparkled in each eye, each smile was bright. The new bicycles were a very practical encouragement, making the journey to school easier and encouraging the children to study hard, writing a bright future.

Ms. Dinh Thi Thu Hien, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hoa Binh Ward, shared: Looking back at the 80-year journey of building and developing the Agriculture and Environment sector, we are more deeply imbued with the value of the spirit of "for the community" and "serving the people" that generations of industry officials have persistently cultivated.

Today's program is a continuation of that tradition. The 50 bicycles given today are not only material gifts but also a great source of spiritual encouragement, helping the children to go to school conveniently, more confidently and nurturing beautiful dreams. Teachers, families and society always follow their footsteps. Hopefully, from today's gift, the children will try harder, be good, study well, become useful citizens, contributing to building the homeland of Hoa Binh to be more and more prosperous and civilized.

Ms. Vuong Lan Anh, Principal of Thinh Lang Primary and Secondary School, also expressed her gratitude to the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment for its love and care for students in Hoa Binh Ward, Phu Tho Province. Every year, schools review the difficult circumstances of students to have support measures. Some are orphans, their parents died early, some are adopted or belong to poor households... The support from the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment and sponsors is very timely, giving the students more strength to strive to overcome their circumstances to study better.

According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Yen, Deputy Chief of the Office of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment: To celebrate the 80th anniversary of the establishment of the sector, the Party Committee of the Ministry organized many activities to express gratitude, to return to the roots and pay special attention to the young generation. In Tuyen Quang, the delegation presented 80 gifts to children in difficult circumstances. Today, in Hoa Binh ward, the delegation continued to present 50 gifts to 50 students from 8 schools in the area. Although the material value is not large, this is a spiritual encouragement, helping the children have more confidence in pursuing their dreams and making efforts to study.

To celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Agriculture and Environment sector, the Party Committee of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment has directed the implementation of a series of high-profile activities to spread the spirit of the sector's 80th anniversary: ​​Organizing the admission of 80 outstanding people to the Party at the national relic site of the Ministry of Agriculture, Tuyen Quang province; organizing a rally to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the sector and the first Patriotic Emulation Congress of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment; inaugurating key projects to celebrate; organizing the awarding of 50 bicycles to students overcoming difficulties in Hoa Binh ward.

This is both the responsibility and sentiment of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment and the local Party Committee towards the young generation, the future generation of the country in the new era.
