New regulations specifying the fees for examinations and license issuance.

According to the latest regulations issued by the Ministry of Finance regarding the fee rates, collection methods, and payment procedures for driver's license examinations and fees for issuing licenses and certificates for operating various types of vehicles, there are some new points compared to the previous Circular No. 37/2023/TT-BTC. Specifically, regarding driver's license examination fees:

For driving tests of categories A1, A, and B1: the fee for the theoretical test is 60,000 VND/ครั้ง; the fee for the practical test is 70,000 VND/ครั้ง.

For driving tests for categories B, C1, C, D1, D2, D, CE..., the fee is 100,000 VND per attempt for the theory test; 100,000 VND per attempt for the driving test using traffic simulation software; 350,000 VND per attempt for the practical test on the driving course; and 80,000 VND per attempt for the practical test on the road.

Regarding driver's license issuance fees: The fee for issuing, exchanging, or reissuing a driver's license (national and international) is 115,000 VND per instance; a reduction from the previous fee of 135,000 VND per instance.

Furthermore, the appendix to the fee schedule states that "in cases where a candidate has been notified by the examination organizing agency to take the exam but does not attend (drops out), the fees paid will not be refunded" (instead of the previous regulation stating that the fees paid must be refunded).
