After seven days of intense competition, on May 24th, at the Special Forces Officer School, the Special Forces Command held the closing ceremony of the 2026 All-Army Special Forces Sports Festival, awarding prizes to the teams and individuals who achieved outstanding results.

The sports festival is the opening event in a series of events leading up to the 60th anniversary of the Special Forces Command's Traditional Day (March 19, 1967 - March 19, 2027), bringing together 15 sports delegations with 881 officers, soldiers, coaches, athletes, and support and operational personnel; including 717 athletes, competing in football, volleyball, badminton, and pickleball.
Speaking at the closing ceremony, Major General Hoang Minh Son, Commander of the Special Forces Command, emphasized that this year's competition took place under conditions where units within the Command and the entire Special Forces force were simultaneously carrying out many regular and unexpected tasks; the weather was hot, the intensity of the competition was high, and the provision of accommodation and living facilities for the participating teams still faced many difficulties.
However, thanks to the close leadership and guidance of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and the Commander of the Special Forces Command, the scientific management of the Organizing Committee, and the high sense of responsibility and determination of the participating teams, the sports competition was successfully held, ensuring absolute safety in all aspects.
According to Major General Hoang Minh Son, the results of the sports competition not only demonstrate the strong development of the physical training movement within the Special Forces of the entire army, but also serve as a measure to assess the quality of combat readiness training and physical training of the units.
“In sports competitions, winning and losing are normal, but the most valuable things are the spirit of solidarity, determination, perseverance, and the willingness to participate and contribute. Today's result is not the end point, but a motivation to continue training and striving for even greater achievements in future sports competitions,” Major General Hoang Minh Son emphasized.

According to the Organizing Committee of the Games, this year's competitions were lively, exciting, highly competitive, and ensured solidarity, honesty, and the true spirit of sportsmanship.
