On January 9th, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Can Tho City announced that it had advised the People's Committee of Can Tho City to implement an artistic flower street project titled "Celebrating the Glorious Party - Celebrating the Year of the Snake 2025". This project will be carried out on Vo Van Tan - Nguyen Thai Hoc street (Tan An Ward, Ninh Kieu District, Can Tho City) with a scale of approximately 310 meters, funded through social mobilization.

With the theme "Convergence and Development," the art flower street will have many attractive features. The main gate area is designed with a stylized arch, with the Can Tho logo and the words "Can Tho Flower Street 2025" displayed above, surrounded by vibrant apricot and peach blossom decorations.
The organizers designed the flower street into three sections, each with different details, miniature landscapes, and models for people to visit and take photos.
Section 1 includes models of apricot blossom gardens, lotus flower arrangements, a map of Vietnam, and sunflower arrangements, all associated with welcoming the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term and celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).

Section 2 features a large floral display, a New Year's greeting (Year of the Snake), New Year couplets, models of digital technology applications, books, computers, and a model of the Can Tho City Library and People's Council building.

Section 3 will feature a stylized model of Can Tho City's tourism logo, a stage for cultural performances, a model of a floating market on the river, an orchard, boats laden with fruits and flowers, a model of a flower-lined river, and booths promoting tourism.

The side gate of the flower street is also impressive with its stylized swallow with outstretched wings, the Can Tho logo in the center, and the words "Can Tho Flower Street 2025," along with a tray of five fruits and colorful flower models. The pillars on either side are decorated with models, creating a final highlight for the flower street.

The reorganization of the art flower street on Vo Van Tan - Nguyen Thai Hoc street in Can Tho City has received support from many people. According to the plan, the art flower street will open on January 27th and operate until January 3rd (from the 28th day of the 12th lunar month to the 6th day of the Lunar New Year of the Year of the Snake 2025).
Previously, in the years 2022-2024, due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic and difficulties in securing sponsorship, Can Tho City reduced the scale of the art flower street to a spring flower garden. With its smaller scale, the flower garden was somewhat limited in terms of attractiveness, highlights, and appeal to people during the Lunar New Year and spring season.
