Ninh Binh welcomes 374,000 visitors on September 2nd holiday

According to the Ninh Binh Provincial Department of Tourism , from August 31 to September 3, the province is estimated to welcome 374,000 visitors; of which, international visitors are estimated at 74,000, an increase of 276.7% compared to 2023 (19,646 visitors).

Some tourist areas and spots that welcome a lot of visitors are: Trang An tourist area, Hoa Lu ancient town, Bai Dinh pagoda area, Thung Nham eco-tourism area, Cuc Phuong National Park, Tam Coc-Bich Dong tourist area, Kenh Ga area, etc. Large hotels such as: Ninh Binh Legend, Hoang Son, The Read ... room occupancy rate reaches over 90%.

With the outstanding growth, especially the reception of 4,500 Indian tourists visiting Trang An on this occasion, the province's tourism revenue is estimated at nearly 650 billion VND, an increase of 182.6% over the same period. The average room occupancy rate is 85-90%, with 100% room occupancy rate on the evening of August 31 and September 1.

Previously, in order to bring a safe and impressive vacation, ensuring to meet all the needs of tourists, the Ninh Binh province tourism industry has strengthened the direction, inspection and supervision of destination business units, travel agencies, hotels and restaurants in the province; at the same time, promoted propaganda, raised awareness and responsibility for people providing services, strictly prohibited the situation of soliciting and forcing prices, focused on improving quality, building the image of a safe, friendly, quality and attractive destination.

Kenh Ga area with natural hot springs in Gia Vien district (Ninh Binh) is also a destination chosen by many tourists.

In particular, renewing tourism products and stimulus programs such as: Tam Coc Culinary Culture Festival 2024 with the theme "Heritage Flavor - Folk Colors" brings visitors to the traditional folk cultural colors of the Trang An-Ninh Binh Heritage Land with more than 100 culinary booths and traditional craft villages, in addition to folk games, more than 200 typical dishes from all over the country; nightly art programs at Hoa Lu Ancient Town with many songs highlighting the image of the red flag with a 5-pointed yellow star, recreating the historical journey, the past in which the Party led the entire army and people to gain independence and freedom for the nation; exploiting the new tourist destination of the Golden Pagoda; Cultural, Sports and Tourism Festival in Gia Vien District;...
