On the 6th day of the first lunar month of the Year of the Dragon 2024, Comrade Pham Minh Chinh, Member of the Political Bureau and Prime Minister of the Government, visited and offered incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh at the Ho Chi Minh Monument in Hiep Luc commune and encouraged farmers in their spring production, visiting a model of rice planting using tray seedlings in Hung Long commune.

At the beginning of the new year, Ninh Giang district is honored to welcome the Prime Minister to "inaugurate" the district's activities, which is a great joy and motivation, encouraging the emulation movement to successfully achieve the socio-economic development targets and tasks of the district in 2024.

Looking back over the past year, although the process of implementing socio-economic development tasks still faced many difficulties and challenges, especially the complex developments of natural disasters, storms and floods, with a proactive and creative spirit, the Party Committee, government and people of Ninh Giang district successfully implemented political tasks.

The socio-economic situation demonstrates a clear recovery, with 15 out of 17 targets set for the district being met or exceeded. Social welfare and the material and spiritual lives of the people in the district have continuously improved. National defense, security, and social order and safety in the locality are firmly ensured.

In 2024, the total value of production in the district reached over 24,000 billion VND. Average per capita income reached 72.9 million VND/person/year. State budget revenue reached over 580 billion VND, achieving 176.9% of the provincial target. Vinh Hoa commune was recognized as a model new rural commune in the field of education in 2023. The entire district had 3 more schools meeting national standards. The poverty rate decreased to 1.43% according to the poverty standard for the 2021-2025 period...

Ninh Giang District has focused on attracting investment to build infrastructure for industrial clusters, creating momentum for the development of industry, services, trade, and tourism. It has implemented comprehensive and decisive administrative reforms, with a focus on streamlining administrative procedures. This includes reorganizing commune-level administrative units; restructuring the organization and apparatus of administrative agencies at all levels and the operations of public service units after mergers, ensuring that the new administrative units operate in accordance with regulations.

Local authorities are resolutely addressing land clearance issues to implement many important projects. This includes mobilizing and educating people to voluntarily dismantle and forcibly remove all 156 bridges and 24 illegal stalls to implement the Dai Phu Giang canal and the T6 canal at Hiep Le pumping station project. They are also clearing land for the 500kV Nam Dinh I – Pho Noi power line project and many other projects...

In particular, many large-scale road infrastructure development projects have been implemented, creating momentum for the development of localities and Ninh Giang district, such as: investing in the construction, renovation, and upgrading of the road from the Ho Chi Minh Monument area in Hiep Luc commune through the Ho Chi Minh Memorial Area (Hong Du commune) to provincial road 396; renovating and upgrading the inter-communal road between Hong Phuc and Tan Phong; renovating and upgrading the inter-communal road between Hong Duc and An Duc...

Party building work has been a focus of the District Party Committee's Standing Committee, which has led and directed the thorough implementation of directives, resolutions, and conclusions from the Central and Provincial Party Committees. Attention has been paid to directing the effective implementation of all aspects of Party building work, improving the effectiveness and efficiency of government management and administration, and the activities of the Fatherland Front and other political and social organizations at both the district and commune levels.

To fulfill the political tasks of 2025 and move towards the 26th District Party Congress, the Party Committee, government, and people of the district will continue to build upon the achievements already made, enhance leadership capacity and fighting strength to consolidate a clean and strong political system. They will complete the 18 main objectives set forth in the Resolution of the 25th District Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term; and make thorough preparations for the successful organization of grassroots Party congresses and the 26th District Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term.
