According to Mr. Nguyen Van Loi, Secretary of the Commune Party Committee, Thuan Son commune has approximately 108 hectares of corn, including 33 hectares of sweet corn. For the past four years, commune officials have contacted a corn purchasing company in the North to provide seeds, fertilizers, and a guaranteed purchase agreement for 100% of the produce, bringing a considerable income to the farmers.
