Recently, singer Tuan Hung shared a rather humorous story on his personal page. Specifically, during a charity trip to Ha Giang , the singer and his group stopped to rest and have a meal at a roadside restaurant.
The owner of the restaurant immediately recognized him as a famous singer. However, the owner mistakenly confused Tuan Hung with Dam Vinh Hung:
"On the way to Ha Giang this afternoon during our charity trip, when the whole group stopped for dinner, as soon as I walked into the restaurant, the owner stared at me in surprise and shouted: 'Oh, Dam Vinh Hung!'"
Tuan Hung was mistaken for Dam Vinh Hung.
I was both amused and embarrassed, so I found a seat. But it didn't stop there; the younger guy came closer and said, "Your eyes are unmistakable." The whole group burst out laughing, and he scratched his head and walked away, deep in thought.
Just when we thought it was over, my mother asked again: "Then you're definitely Duy Mạnh's younger sibling, right?"
Despite being mistaken for someone else repeatedly, Tuan Hung remained calm and went along with the mother and daughter who owned the restaurant. However, the male singer couldn't help but feel awkward in this "laughable yet embarrassing" situation:
"I was tired, finished my bowl of rice, and was about to leave when the kid stopped me. I started to get annoyed: 'What now?' He said: 'Now I really recognize you, you look so different from how you appear on TV! Where are you going?' 'Oh, I'm doing charity work.' 'Okay, goodbye. If I stand here any longer, he'll say I look like some other guy, and that would be terrible.'"
"They might have been a little surprised. And the more they try to remember, the less they can recall."
Tuan Hung's story has garnered much attention from netizens. People are humorously sharing their thoughts on the interesting situation the singer encountered.
Responding to questions from family members, Tuan Hung stated that the mix-up was due to the restaurant owner and her daughter being taken by surprise: "They were probably a little surprised. And the more they tried to remember, the less they could recall."
However, Tuan Hung affirmed that he wasn't bothered by being mistaken for someone else: "These are moments enough to make you happy with life. If you look at it in a positive light."
