Regarding rice, according to the update from the Department of Agriculture and Environment of An Giang province, the current price of OM 18 rice (fresh) fluctuates at 6,400 - 6,500 VND/kg; Dai Thom 8 rice (fresh) fluctuates at 6,400 - 6,500 VND/kg; OM 5451 rice (fresh) fluctuates at 5,700 - 5,900 VND/kg; IR 50404 rice (fresh) fluctuates at 5,500 - 5,600 VND/kg; OM 380 rice (fresh) fluctuates at 5,000 - 5,200 VND/kg; Nhat rice is at 7,800 - 8,000 VND/kg; Nang Hoa 9 rice is at 9,200 VND/kg.

In many localities today, the supply is better, the buying and selling transactions are steady. In Hau Giang, farmers offer a lot of rice for sale, the demand is quite high, the transactions are slow. In An Giang, the rice harvest is abundant, the demand is higher, the price continues to increase compared to yesterday.

In Can Tho, the quantity is still small, most of the areas have been staked by traders. In Kien Giang, the rice source is still quite good, the demand is high, farmers offer prices up 50-100 VND/kg for all types, transactions are quite good.

As for by-products, the prices of by-products range from 5,550-7,300 VND/kg. Currently, the price of fragrant rice bran ranges from 7,100-7,300 VND/kg; rice bran 3-4 increased by 200 VND/kg to 6,600-6,700 VND/kg; the price of dry bran ranges from 5,550-5,700 VND/kg compared to yesterday.

Recorded in localities today, small quantity, stable price of white raw rice, other types of prices fluctuate little. The market has little source of good IR50404 and OM380 rice, slow transaction.

In Lap Vo (Dong Thap), the quantity is small, the price is stable. In Sa Dec (Dong Thap), the price of all types of rice is stable. In Sa Dec market (Dong Thap), rice is coming in slowly, the market warehouse buys regularly, the price of all types is stable. In An Cu (Cai Be, Tien Giang), rice is coming in slowly, the price is increasing slightly, the demand is slow.

At retail markets, rice prices of all kinds remained unchanged compared to yesterday. Currently, Nang Nhen rice has the highest listed price of VND28,000/kg; regular rice fluctuates at VND15,000-16,000/kg; long-grain fragrant rice fluctuates at VND20,000-22,000/kg; Huong Lai rice fluctuates at VND22,000/kg; Jasmine fragrant rice fluctuates at VND18,000-20,000/kg; Nang Hoa rice fluctuates at VND22,000/kg; Taiwanese fragrant rice fluctuates at VND21,000/kg; common white rice fluctuates at VND17,000/kg; Soc regular rice fluctuates at VND18,000/kg; Soc Thai rice is priced at VND21,000/kg; Japanese rice is priced at VND22,000/kg.

In the export market, Vietnam's rice export prices today are stable compared to yesterday. According to the Vietnam Food Association (VFA), currently 5% standard rice is at 389 USD/ton; 25% broken rice is at 364 USD/ton; 100% broken rice is at 307 USD/ton.
