On November 25th, VNG Corporation (VNG) announced that Mr. Vo Sy Nhan officially resigned from his position as Chairman of the Board of Directors of VNG on November 22nd at his own request. Mr. Le Hong Minh, the founder of VNG, will succeed him and become the company's legal representative. In accordance with current regulations for public companies, the VNG Board of Directors also voted to dismiss Mr. Minh from his position as General Director. Mr. Le Hong Minh will continue to manage VNG's overall operations as Chairman of the Board of Directors and legal representative. Mr. Vo Sy Nhan was appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors of VNG in December 2022. He is currently the CEO of Empire City and co-founder and CEO of GAW NP Capital. Meanwhile, Mr. Le Hong Minh founded Vinagame (the predecessor of VNG) in 2004. He was honored as one of the 10 most influential leaders in the Vietnamese Internet (2007-2017) and received a commendation from the Prime Minister for his positive contributions to the development of the technology sector in 2014. Mr. Minh previously served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of VNG before Mr. Nhan.

VNG Earns Over 200 Billion VND in the First Nine Months of 2024. In the first nine months of 2024, VNG recorded cumulative revenue of 6,982 billion VND, adjusted net profit from business operations of 202 billion VND, and contributed over 700 billion VND to the state budget. The company also reported strong performance from value-added services and AI products, along with positive revenue growth from its corporate client base and international markets.
