On November 25, VNG Corporation (VNG) announced that Mr. Vo Sy Nhan had officially resigned from the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors of VNG from November 22 according to his personal wishes. Mr. Le Hong Minh, founder of VNG, will succeed this position and be the legal representative of the company. According to current regulations for public companies, the Board of Directors of VNG also voted to dismiss Mr. Minh from the position of General Director. Mr. Le Hong Minh will continue to manage the general operations of VNG as Chairman of the Board of Directors and legal representative. Mr. Vo Sy Nhan was appointed as Chairman of the Board of Directors of VNG from December 2022. He is currently the CEO of Empire City, co-founder and CEO of GAW NP Capital Fund. Meanwhile, Mr. Le Hong Minh founded Vinagame (the predecessor of VNG) in 2004. He was honored as one of the 10 most influential leaders in Vietnam Internet (2007-2017) and was honored to receive a certificate of merit from the Prime Minister for his positive contributions to the development of the technology sector in 2014. Mr. Minh held the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors of VNG before Mr. Nhan.

VNG earns over 200 billion in profit in the first 9 months of 2024 In the first 9 months of 2024, VNG recorded accumulated revenue of 6,982 billion VND, adjusted net profit from business operations of 202 billion VND, contributing over 700 billion VND to the state budget. The company also recorded good performance from value-added services and AI products, while also seeing positive revenue growth from corporate customers and international markets.
