Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong was elected to the position of Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City.

Along with Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong, Ho Chi Minh City now has a total of 7 Vice Chairmen of the City People's Committee.

On July 24th, at the second session of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council held at the former Binh Duong Provincial Exhibition and Convention Center, Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee and Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, was elected to the position of Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee.

Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong was born in 1979 in An Giang province into a revolutionary family. He holds a Master's degree in Economics, a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Auditing, and a Senior Political qualification. He rose through the ranks of youth organizations at the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City and held various positions within the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union.

Thus, the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee currently includes Mr. Nguyen Van Duoc, Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, and Chairman of the People's Committee; and Mr. Nguyen Van Tho, Permanent Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City.

The Vice Presidents include: Mr. Nguyen Loc Ha; Mr. Bui Xuan Cuong; Mr. Nguyen Van Dung; Mr. Bui Minh Thanh; Ms. Tran Thi Dieu Thuy and Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong.
