Although the Oppo X8 Ultra was just launched last month, receiving special attention for its impressive camera system, the Digital Chat Station account on Weibo has reported on the telephoto camera modules of the Find X9 Ultra. Accordingly, this device will have a 200MP periscope telephoto lens, replacing the 50MP unit on the X8 Ultra.

Digital Chat Station revealed the specifications of the Oppo X9 Ultra on Weibo.
According to leaked information, the remaining 50MP telephoto lens may retain the same resolution, but the zoom range will be upgraded from 6x to 10x.
While this year's Find X8 Pro also features a telephoto setup similar to the Ultra model, the Find X9 Pro boasts a completely different design with a single periscope camera, believed to be a 200MP module.
Additionally, there are rumors that Oppo is expanding its Find X9 line to include four models: Find X9, X9 Plus, X9 Pro, and X9 Ultra. With this product range, the company is not hiding its ambition to compete with the iPhone 17, 17 Plus, 17 Pro, and 17 Pro Max.

Oppo has launched multiple versions of the "Find X" series, demonstrating its ambition to compete with Apple's phones.
All four models are expected to have flat screens, with the Find X9 being the more compact version with a screen size of around 6.3 inches; along with the Plus and Pro models, they are expected to be equipped with the Dimensity 9500 SoC. The Find X9 Ultra will likely opt for the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chip.
It's too early to get a complete picture of the Find X9 lineup; the Ultra model may not launch in 2025, while the rest of the models are expected to launch in October or November of this year, following MediaTek's announcement of the Dimensity 9500.
