Transforming production and increasing the value of the industry.

Following the provincial merger , not only has the development space expanded, but opportunities have also opened up to reorganize production in a modern direction. Many localities within the province are focusing on developing large-scale raw material areas, improving quality and added value instead of chasing after quantity.

The results for the first six months of the year show that the agriculture, forestry, and fisheries sector grew by 5.2%; total fisheries production reached over 613,000 tons, an increase of nearly 7% compared to the same period last year. Of this, shrimp production reached over 281,000 tons, an increase of over 14%; crab production reached over 21,000 tons, an increase of over 10%... This result reflects the effectiveness of the production model transformation towards adapting to climate change and increasing added value.

Many models, such as improved high-yield extensive shrimp farming, ecological shrimp farming, internationally certified shrimp farming, RAS-IMTA recirculating aquaculture systems, and low-emission, high-quality rice production, continue to expand. Notably, agricultural growth no longer depends on expanding acreage but is generated from improving efficiency per unit of production. This is a direction consistent with the requirements for efficient resource utilization and sustainable development.
