Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Manh Hung has passed away.

(NLĐO) - Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Manh Hung, former Rector of Nguyen Tat Thanh University, passed away on November 22nd at the age of 74.

Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Manh Hung passed away at just after 2 PM on November 22nd, after suffering a stroke many years prior.

The obituary states that the viewing will take place from 8:00 AM on November 27th to 8:00 AM on November 28th. The funeral service will be held at 8:30 AM on November 28th.

Five years ago, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Manh Hung submitted his resignation from his positions at the university due to health reasons. Shortly after, he suffered a stroke.

Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Manh Hung is one of the pioneers who laid the foundation for the establishment of the university and contributed to creating Nguyen Tat Thanh University with many outstanding achievements.

From a vocational training center for garment workers, Nguyen Tat Thanh University has now become a multidisciplinary university with multiple levels of education, providing learning opportunities for 20,000 students across five fields of study: Health, Economics , Engineering and Technology, Social Sciences and Humanities, and Arts.
