Breaking the traffic "monopoly"

Quang Ninh is the locality with the fastest development of transport infrastructure in the country in the past decade. Located in the far Northeast of the country, Quang Ninh was previously considered an "oasis" when the traffic route to the province mainly depended on the narrow and degraded National Highway 18. However, with sharp thinking, innovation and creativity, the province has removed bottlenecks in transport infrastructure with high-class projects. Thereby, breaking the "monopoly" of transport, contributing to effectively exploiting potentials and strengths, becoming one of the important growth poles of the country.

Ha Long - Hai Phong

Expressway

is the first expressway project in Vietnam funded by the local budget, completed in 2018, with a total investment of more than 7,000 billion VND.

Four years after the completion of the Ha Long - Hai Phong expressway, in 2022,

Quang Ninh officially put the final section of the expressway along the province into operation, connecting to most of the economic zones, industrial parks, seaports and development centers of the province.

Van Don International Airport opens the sky, connecting Quang Ninh closer to the world, is the first private airport in Vietnam.

Dong Son - Dong Lam connecting road (Ha Long city) is nearly 20km long, completed in 2024, creating an interconnected, overall traffic infrastructure chain in the North of Ha Long.
