- On the morning of July 3, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee held a conference to provide social feedback on the draft Resolution promulgating regulations on content and spending levels for domestic violence prevention and control activities in the province.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee chaired the conference.

Attending the conference were leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department; representatives of the Department of Culture and Society, the Provincial People's Council; leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism (the agency in charge of drafting the draft document); representatives of leaders of the province's socio -political organizations, advisory councils of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and experts.

The Resolution on Regulations on the content and level of expenditure for domestic violence prevention and control activities in the province consists of 3 chapters and 13 articles; the subjects of application of the resolution are: agencies, units, localities and organizations and individuals related to the implementation of domestic violence prevention and control work in the province.

Regarding the content of expenditure levels, there are 9 following levels: Information, communication andeducation activities; organizing competitions to learn about domestic violence prevention and control; expenditure levels for building and implementing models for domestic violence prevention and control; expenditure levels for consulting activities on domestic violence prevention and control; expenditure levels for education and support in changing domestic violence behavior; support for victims of domestic violence; support for compensation for damage to health, life and property damage for individuals participating in domestic violence prevention and control; developing a network of population collaborators participating in family work, domestic violence prevention and control in the community; expenditure levels for inter-sectoral coordination, interim and final reviews.

Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department spoke at the conference.

At the workshop, there were 12 comments on the contents stated in the draft resolution. The delegates all expressed their agreement with the issuance of the resolution, and at the same time, focused on comments on contents such as: practical basis and legal basis for issuing the resolution; correctness, scientific nature, feasibility of the resolution. In particular, some comments suggested that the agency in charge of drafting the draft resolution should clarify the scope of regulation and applicable subjects of the resolution; research, review and balance the expenditure content, the expenditure levels of the resolution should be consistent with the current documents of the province, as well as refer to, consider, and compare with related documents of some neighboring provinces with similar socio-economic conditions...

During the program, leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism explained and clarified the contents mentioned by delegates, and at the same time received comments to complete the draft decision in the coming time.
