(HNMO) - On the evening of June 2, the Traffic Police Department (Hanoi City Police) said that it had issued a decision to impose an administrative fine of 6 million VND, accompanied by an additional penalty of 7-day vehicle detention, 7-month driving license collection for HPP (born in 4; in Tu Hiep commune, Thanh Tri district, Hanoi) for the act of "loading" motorbikes to challenge the authorities.
Previously, on social networks, images of young people riding red SH motorbikes "lifting their heads" on one wheel challenged the authorities. Quickly getting involved, Traffic Police Team No. 1, Traffic Police Department determined the time and location of the incident. By professional measures, less than 7 hours, Traffic Police Team No. 24 summoned HPP to the police agency for clarification.
At the police station, HPP confessed that at 22:30 p.m. on June 1, when crossing Le Van Luong Street, Thanh Xuan District (Hanoi), deliberately performed the act of driving a motorcycle with a license plate 6X29-7.xx riding on one wheel to tease the authorities. After being propagated and educated, P wrote a review, promising not to repeat the offense. P said that he had dropped out of school to work as a shipper, while unable to control himself, he broke the law.
Based on the evidence, Traffic Police Team No. 7 issued a decision to impose a fine of VND 7 million on HPP for errors in controlling a single-wheeled vehicle for a 2-wheeled vehicle according to Point C, Clause 8, Article 6 of Decree No. 100/2019/ND-CP.
Traffic Police Department said, all violations of traffic laws such as swerving, swinging, and picking heads... are strictly dealt with as a deterrent. Currently, the unit is coordinating with the Criminal Police Department, the Mobile Police Regiment and the police of the districts, towns and cities to patrol and strictly handle the young people who harass and disturb public order every night on the central streets of the capital and suburban areas.
