Launching the "HiGreen Truong Sa" program with the goal of planting one million trees in the Truong Sa island district.
The Vietnam Navy has launched the "HiGreen Truong Sa" program with the goal of planting one million trees in Truong Sa island district, Khanh Hoa province, Vietnam.
This is a meaningful program aimed at planting one million new trees on Truong Sa island district, Khanh Hoa province. One million trees planted in Truong Sa will not only create a green landscape on the map of the Fatherland but will also have a comprehensive impact on the island's ecosystem. These rows of trees will act as "green shields," protecting the island from storms and minimizing damage caused by natural disasters.
The HiGreen Truong Sa program calls for the collective efforts of the community, organizations, and businesses to work together to green the frontline islands, bringing life to Truong Sa.
Besides making direct contributions, everyone can join hands in the greening of Truong Sa through simple actions such as sharing information, spreading the spirit of environmental protection, and participating in green activities launched by the program.
"It is clear that the 'Greening Truong Sa' program in general, and HiGreen Truong Sa in particular, is a major initiative. We actively call for contributions and support from localities, businesses, organizations, individuals, people nationwide, and overseas Vietnamese to support Truong Sa through practical actions, both materially and spiritually, to contribute to the success of the program. Each green tree that grows is the culmination of perseverance, resilience, and silent sacrifices," shared Colonel Cao Van Son, Deputy Head of Logistics and Technical Services of the Navy.
