The Department of Domestic Market Management and Development ( Ministry of Industry and Trade ) is organizing a nationwide competition titled "Understanding the Benefits of E10 Biofuel".
To raise public awareness about biofuels, promote green consumption trends, and spread the message of using environmentally friendly energy, the Department of Domestic Market Management and Development (Ministry of Industry and Trade) is organizing the "Understanding the Benefits of E10 Biofuel" competition nationwide.
The competition is being held against the backdrop of the growing trend of green energy transition and emission reduction becoming an urgent requirement in many countries around the world . This is not only an activity to promote and disseminate knowledge, but also aims to build awareness, change consumption habits, and encourage the community to work together in the process of using clean, environmentally friendly energy.
The competition consists of two formats: online and in-person. The online round will take place from 10:00 AM on May 25, 2026 to 10:00 AM on May 31, 2026 on the website of the Department of Domestic Market Management and Development, making it easy for a large number of people nationwide to participate and learn about E10 bioethanol.
For the online round, contestants will answer 20 multiple-choice questions and 1 open-ended question on the online testing software at www.dms.gov.vn. Participants can use electronic devices with internet access to take the test anytime, anywhere during the competition period.
The competition results will be ranked from highest to lowest among contestants who correctly answer the Organizing Committee's questions and whose open-ended answers are accurate or closest to the results recorded on the online testing system.
The results of the online round are expected to be announced at 10:00 AM on June 1, 2026, on the website of the Department of Domestic Market Management and Development.
The Organizing Committee will award prizes for the online competition including: 1 First Prize worth 3,000,000 VND; 2 Second Prizes, each worth 2,000,000 VND; 3 Third Prizes, each worth 1,000,000 VND; and 10 Consolation Prizes, each worth 500,000 VND.
In addition to the online round, the in-person round is scheduled to be held on June 12, 2026 in Hanoi, with the participation of teams that have registered according to the regulations issued by the Organizing Committee.
The Organizing Committee will award prizes for the live competition round including: 1 First Prize worth 15,000,000 VND; 1 Second Prize worth 10,000,000 VND; 1 Third Prize worth 7,000,000 VND; and 2 Consolation Prizes, each worth 3,000,000 VND.
In addition to the main competitions, the Organizing Committee has also prepared many attractive gifts for audience members who attend the program and correctly answer the interactive questions during the live competition round.
