Comrade Le Van Manh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of the City People's Council, gave a speech suggesting ideas and chaired the discussion at the conference.
In the first quarter of 2025, the City Party Committee and its Standing Committee focused on decisively directing the implementation of the 2025 Resolution. They strengthened the direction of grassroots Party branches and committees to organize and thoroughly implement the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's laws and regulations, in conjunction with the implementation of the 2025 Resolution of the Provincial and City Party Committees, the province's 2025 thematic topic "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality, and style on building a team of cadres and Party members with pure revolutionary ethics, firm political acumen, and sufficient capacity to serve the Fatherland and the people in the current period," and Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW, dated December 22, 2024, of the Politburo "on breakthroughs in the development of science, technology, innovation, and national digital transformation"...
Comrade Nguyen Van Lieu, City Party Committee member and Head of the City Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, delivered a speech at the conference.
The People's Committee of Thai Nguyen City is strengthening its direction and implementation of tasks and solutions for socio-economic development in 2025; accelerating the progress of key investment projects, land clearance work, especially projects celebrating the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term. It will continue to direct the effective implementation of the National Target Program for New Rural Development and the work of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in the city.
Economically, the value of production (at 2010 constant prices) reached VND 7,005 billion, achieving 25.71% of the plan, an increase of 8.87% compared to the same period last year. 68 out of 135 new enterprises were established, reaching 50.37% of the resolution target, an increase of 78.95% compared to the same period last year.
Continue to effectively implement Plan No. 135-KH/TU, dated November 23, 2023, of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee on strengthening the Party's leadership over the work of innovation, development, and improvement of the quality of general education in the city.
Comrade Nguyen Van Nhu, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Thai Nguyen City, delivered a speech at the conference.
Focus on effectively implementing capital construction funds in 2025. With a managed capital of VND 353.86 billion, the City of Thai Nguyen has allocated funds to 36 projects, and to date, VND 13.514 billion has been disbursed, reaching 3.8%; compensation payments have been made for 6 projects to 165 households, totaling VND 848.738 billion. The City also directed the effective management, exploitation, and handling of cases of encroachment on public land; and completed the draft land use plan for 2025 for submission to competent authorities for consideration and approval.
Comrade Lam Phuoc Chung, Director of the Investment and Construction Project Management Board of TPTV, delivered a speech at the conference.
In his concluding remarks at the conference, Comrade Dang Quoc Khoi, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Thai Nguyen City Party Committee, highly appreciated the results achieved in the first quarter of 2025 and the efforts and dedication of all cadres and Party members.
The Secretary of the Tra Vinh City Party Committee requested the entire Party Committee of Tra Vinh City to continue to uphold a sense of responsibility and successfully complete the work program in the second quarter of 2025. This includes paying attention to directing the successful organization of the celebrations for the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), the 135th anniversary of the birth of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025), the 65th anniversary of the signing of the sister city agreement between Tra Vinh (Vinh Tra) and Thai Binh, and the 15th anniversary of the establishment of Tra Vinh City (March 4, 2010 - March 4, 2025).
Continue to direct grassroots Party committees to fully prepare the content for the delegate congresses for the 2025-2030 term in accordance with Directive No. 35-CT/TW of the Politburo; Plan No. 205-KH/TU of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Plan No. 175-KH/TU of the City Party Standing Committee.
Comrade Dang Quoc Khoi, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the City Party Committee of Thai Nguyen, delivered the concluding remarks at the conference.
Looking ahead, in April 2025, the City Party Committee of TPTV will focus on leading and directing the strict and effective implementation of the Central and Provincial Party Committee's policies on consolidating and reorganizing the organizational structure; ensuring the proper implementation of policies and regulations for cadres, civil servants, and public employees under the management of the City Party Committee and its Standing Committee; and cadres, civil servants, and public employees in Party agencies, the Fatherland Front, and political and social organizations in the city, especially those units undergoing organizational restructuring and streamlining.
Continue to direct efforts to improve the quality of Party branch meetings; ensure the order and content of Party branch meetings; improve the quality of Party cadres and members; and promote the role and responsibility of cadres and Party members in setting a good example.
Directing the review, classification, arrangement, statistical analysis, and digitization of documents related to inspection, supervision, and disciplinary enforcement within the Party, to facilitate the handover of documents during the reorganization of the organizational structure as per Official Letter No. 1233-CV/TU dated March 25, 2025, from the Provincial Party Standing Committee. Effectively carrying out the inspection and supervision work of the City Party Committee and its Standing Committee; promptly resolving all complaints and denunciations from Party members and the people in accordance with regulations...
