BHG - Implementing the policy of merging commune-level administrative units, in recent times, the Party Committees of communes and towns in Xin Man district have always upheld their sense of responsibility, promoted their central role in leading, directing, orienting and supervising the implementation. Thanks to that, the merger has been carried out on schedule, ensuring quality according to plan.
Right from the first days of implementation, the Party Committee of Coc Re commune organized thematic meetings to thoroughly grasp the directive documents of the Central, the province and the district. On that basis, the action plan was built in accordance with the actual situation of the locality, clearly assigning responsibilities to each member of the Standing Committee, the Executive Committee and the cadres in charge of the villages and hamlets.
Comrade Lu Van Thanh, Secretary of the Party Committee of Coc Re Commune, said: The Party Committee determined that the merger is not only a political task but also an opportunity to innovate, improve the quality of management and serve the people. The Party Committee proactively developed a plan, established a Steering Committee, and a working group to directly go to each village and hamlet to dialogue and promptly answer questions related to the name, administrative boundaries, organizational structure and benefits after the merger. The work of propaganda and mobilization of the people was focused and concerned. Thanks to that, the majority of people agreed and actively supported the merger process.

According to the policy, Coc Re commune, Trung Thinh commune and Thu Ta commune will be merged into a new administrative unit. Before the merger, Coc Re commune had a population and area that did not meet standards, and the infrastructure and people's lives faced many difficulties. Realizing the urgency and political significance, the Party Committee of Coc Re commune identified the merger as a key task, requiring the synchronous participation of the entire political system and high consensus from the people. Currently, the work of arranging, editing and digitizing records in Coc Re commune is being urgently implemented. Mr. Vang Van Phu, an officer of the Office of the People's Council - People's Committee of Coc Re commune, shared: The volume of records is very large, especially documents before 2020 are mainly in paper form. We are classifying and digitizing records to store them fully and accurately, striving to complete them as soon as possible.
In Coc Pai town, preparations for the merger are also being urgently implemented. Secretary of the Coc Pai town Party Committee, Lo Van Son, said: “The Party Committee has directed the town People's Committee to coordinate with the sectors, organizations and professional agencies of the district to conduct an inventory of assets and prepare for the handover. At the same time, strengthen propaganda, grasp the thoughts of cadres, party members and people; thereby, creating unity in perception and action”. In recent days, the town's working group has been working at high intensity, even at night, to ensure the review and updating of records, administrative documents, population data systems, land, public assets, etc. According to the policy, Coc Pai town will merge with the communes of Nan Ma, Ban Ngo and Pa Vay Su into the new Pa Vay Su commune.
The goal of merging commune-level administrative units is to optimize the State management apparatus, improve operational efficiency and use resources reasonably. Promoting the leadership role of the Party Committee is a key factor determining the success and long-term effectiveness of the administrative unit reorganization process. In the coming time, the Party Committees of communes and towns in Xin Man district will continue to improve the quality of grassroots Party organizations, direct the implementation of propaganda work well, and ensure that the merger is carried out in accordance with the direction of the Central and the province.
