Deeply aware of participating in the construction of the Party and government is one of the key tasks of the Provincial Women's Union, focusing on promoting propaganda of the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's, the province's and the Association's laws and policies to members and women in various appropriate forms (conferences, contests, training, writing articles on social networks, zalo, facebook, the general website of the association, etc.). During the year, the website has posted 417 news and articles; 634 images of Association activities; there are 37 media videos. At the same time, focus on renewing and improving the quality of political and ideological education; promote the roles and responsibilities of women to participate in discussions and contribute ideas to draft legal documents, documents of Party congresses at all levels, reports and resolutions of the People's Council (People's Council), local economic and social development plans. In 2022, all levels of the Association participated in comments and social criticism on more than 100 drafts, such as: Law on Prevention and Control of Domestic Violence (amended); Land Law (amended); participate in the social criticism conference organized by the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee on 6 draft laws and regulations. Gather opinions of members and women to send to competent levels and meetings of People's Councils at all levels to promptly solve difficulties and problems in the implementation of resolutions, policies and laws, contributing to promoting direct democracy and women's representative democracy through the organization of the Association.
Along with that, the Women's Union at all levels in the province have actively participated in social contributions and criticisms; local socio-economic development programs; action plan for the advancement of women. Focus on consulting and dialogue with the heads of government on issues related to women and implementing the guidelines of the Party and policies of the State. Last year, the provincial Associations at all levels held 313 monitoring meetings, of which 94 were chaired; coordinated supervision of 219 visits (exceeding the assigned target by 10,9%). After monitoring, it was promptly discovered and proposed to the competent authorities to deal with it. At the same time, the Associations at all levels regularly advise the Party committees and authorities to pay attention to review, evaluate and improve the quality of female cadres and introduce female cadres to participate in Party committees and administrations at all levels, to participate in the candidacy of National Assembly deputies and People's Council deputies at all levels. Accordingly, many female cadres hold important positions in the political system from provincial to grassroots levels.
Implementing the Party's policy on building a new rural area, the Association at all levels has well promoted its key role in mobilizing members and women to participate in environmental protection activities, building a civilized lifestyle in association with the implementation of the Campaign "Building a family of 5 no, 3 clean", the movement "Each rural household has a clean vegetable garden and raised 1 poultry and 10 cattle, mobilized more than 1 billion VND in capital in 2022, mobilized more than 45 billion VND in capital in 20.000, mobilized more than VND 1.150 billion for women" in XNUMX... participate in building new countryside and help more than XNUMX members and women develop production, business, and reduce poverty sustainably. The whole province has XNUMX works/parts contributing to the new rural construction.
In addition, the Association at all levels has organized many activities to support women starting a business through guiding activities on digital transformation and e-commerce for more than 40 production and business households, cooperative groups and cooperatives owned by women; establishing new economic development models and promoting product development advantages... For example, the Women's Union of Muong Nhe district established two new economic development models ("planting fruit trees" in Nam Ke commune and "raising cows" in Sen Thuong commune). The Women's Union of Dien Bien Dong district established the model "Members and women grow macadamia trees" in 2 villages in Pu Nhi commune and the model "Members and women grow red peanuts" in 2 villages in Na Son commune...
With practical, meaningful and highly effective actions, the Women's Unions at all levels in the province have been affirming their position and role in the political system and social life. In particular, being an effective arm of the Party committees and authorities at all levels, contributing to the successful implementation of the task of socio-economic development of the locality; actively participate in building a strong Party and political system.
