At 7:00 AM on September 23, 2024, the water level on the Cau Chay River at the Xuan Vinh Hydrological Station was +8.70m (0.3m below Warning Level II). According to the flood warning bulletin on the Cau Chay River issued by the Thanh Hoa Provincial Meteorological and Hydrological Station in Document No. CBLU58/08h20/THOA on September 23, 2024, the water level at the Xuan Vinh Hydrological Station is likely to reach Warning Level II (+9.00m) between 10:00 and 11:00 AM on September 23, 2024. The Provincial Steering Committee for Disaster Prevention, Search and Rescue, and Civil Defense issued Warning Level II on the Cau Chay River, requesting the Chairmen of the People's Committees of the districts to immediately deploy dike patrols and dike protection according to the warning levels.
Organize inspections, reviews, and prepare to implement plans to ensure the safety of dike structures; especially critical and vulnerable points of dikes and culverts under dikes.
Proactively implement plans to evacuate residents living in riverside areas, ensuring the safety of people and property.
