Leaving the "Charitable Tet Market - Zero-Cost Tet Market," Mrs. Le Thi An (66 years old, An Khe ward) shared her difficult circumstances as she and her husband lacked stable employment, doing odd jobs whenever they were asked to. Their children have their own families, but their lives are also not financially comfortable.
“Today, holding the 0-dong Tet market vouchers organized by the Vietnam Red Cross Central Committee in coordination with the City People's Committee and Coca-Cola Vietnam, my husband and I are overwhelmed with happiness. The items in the market are practical and provide great support for my family to have a more fulfilling Tet. I hope that those in similar difficult circumstances will also be able to choose the necessary items to celebrate Tet with joy,” Mrs. An said emotionally.
The market, organized with a total budget of over 1 billion VND, spread love to 1,000 poor, near-poor, and disadvantaged households in Da Nang city through shopping vouchers worth 1 million VND per household. Through this, people were able to personally select essential items to celebrate the Lunar New Year. In addition, people participated in activities such as haircuts, receiving calligraphy artwork, and getting advice on eye diseases.
Mr. Nguyen Hai Anh, Vice President and Secretary General of the Vietnam Red Cross Society, emphasized that the "Compassionate Tet Market - Zero-Cost Tet Market" not only focuses on giving gifts but also gradually spreads the meaning of sharing social responsibility and promoting sustainable humanitarian values. Through this, it attracts the participation of the entire political system, the business community, organizations, philanthropists, and a large number of people with the spirit of community connection and spreading love.

Here, people fully experienced the joy of shopping for Tet, and it also demonstrated the spirit of solidarity and mutual support of the Fatherland Front and political and social organizations in caring for the people's lives.

At the People's Committee of Thuong Duc commune, the Women's Union also organized a "Zero-Cost Spring Market" for more than 170 female members in difficult circumstances, single mothers, and people with disabilities. Mr. Phan Trung Phi, Chairman of the People's Committee of the commune, said that the market not only helped female members have a more fulfilling Tet holiday but also spread love and sharing in the community.
