Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh attends the program "Tet Reunion - Spring of Gratitude to the Party"

(Dan Tri Newspaper) - On the morning of January 14th, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh attended the "Tet Reunion - Spring Gratitude to the Party 2025" program organized by the Quang Ngai Provincial Labor Union.

At the "Tet Reunion - Spring Gratitude to the Party 2025" program, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh, along with leaders of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and leaders of Quang Ngai province, presented 3,000 gifts to union members, workers, civil servants, and laborers with a total value of 1.9 billion VND.

The Quang Ngai Provincial Federation of Labor also provided financial support for the construction of 35 new union-sponsored homes, donated 1,200 gift packages and 5,500 free shopping vouchers to union members, workers, civil servants, and employees, with a total value of over 3.5 billion VND.

Speaking at the event, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh acknowledged the efforts of the leaders of Quang Ngai province in taking care of the lives of workers.

The Deputy Prime Minister also highly appreciated and thanked the organizations, individuals, businesses, and philanthropists who have joined hands to contribute to the community. The Deputy Prime Minister said that this support not only brings joy to many families during Tet, but also contributes to spreading the spirit of compassion throughout society.

The Deputy Prime Minister expressed his hope that Quang Ngai province would continue to leverage its potential and advantages, overcome limitations and difficulties, and constantly strive to accelerate and achieve breakthrough development, making a positive contribution to the process of building a prosperous and strong nation.

According to Mr. Nguyen Phuc Nhan, Chairman of the Quang Ngai Provincial Labor Union, the Tet Reunion program is a central activity in caring for union members and workers.

After more than 10 years of implementation, the program has created a positive impact, with the support of various levels of government, sectors, and businesses. It has become a popular gathering place for numerous trade union members every Tet holiday.

"The program has spread widely, helping workers and laborers in Quang Ngai celebrate a warm and joyful Tet holiday. This year, trade unions at all levels in the province plan to give gifts to over 102,000 union members with a total budget of approximately 70 billion VND," Mr. Nhan shared.
