Launched on June 1, 2024, the writing contest "Phu Ninh - A 20-Year Journey" attracted a large number of officials, Party members, students, and people inside and outside the district, with 1,139 entries/groups of entries in 3 categories (political commentary, essays, and poetry).

After two rounds of preliminary judging, the jury selected 110 works/groups of works across three genres for the final round. These included 30 works in the essay/political commentary category, 47 works in the prose/essay category, and 33 works/groups of works in the poetry category.

In the final round, the judging panel selected 24 outstanding works/groups of works and recommended that the organizing committee award prizes. Specifically, the essay category had 7 winning works (1 first prize, 1 second prize, 2 third prizes, and 3 consolation prizes); the prose and essay category had 9 winning works (1 first prize, 1 second prize, 2 third prizes, and 5 consolation prizes); and the poetry category had 8 winning works/groups of works (1 first prize, 1 second prize, 2 third prizes, and 4 consolation prizes).

For the "Colors of Phu Ninh" competition, launched from May 15, 2024 to November 30, 2024, there were 198 entries from 14 authors inside and outside the province.

The judging panel conducted a preliminary online judging round, followed by in-person judging, and selected 11 outstanding works to recommend to the organizing committee for submission to the Phu Ninh District People's Committee for recognition of the results, including: 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, 3 third prizes, and 5 consolation prizes.

Organizing these two competitions is one of the activities aimed at commemorating the 20th anniversary of the establishment of Phu Ninh district (2005 - 2025) and the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the homeland (March 24, 1975 - March 24, 2025). Through these activities, the aim is to promote and publicize the land and people of Phu Ninh during its 20-year journey of building and developing the homeland.
