Affirming the role of women in carrying out tasks.
At the Hanoi Capital Command, women are not only the keepers of the flame in each military family but also an important force participating in carrying out military and national defense tasks in many fields of work. The contributions of female soldiers are helping to build a revolutionary, regular, elite, and modern army.
Lieutenant Colonel Do Thi Van Ha, Head of the Mass Mobilization Department, Political Department of the Hanoi Capital Command, is a leading figure in the field of advising and organizing mass movements. With the motto "Stay close to superiors, understand subordinates," for many years, Lieutenant Colonel Do Thi Van Ha has proactively advised Party committees and commanders at all levels to effectively implement mass organization activities, contributing to improving the spiritual life and creating motivation for emulation throughout the entire force. Besides focusing on innovating the content and form of propaganda and education, she has also advised on organizing many forums, seminars, competitions, and cultural activities with wide reach, attracting a large number of officers, union members, and association members to participate.
As one of the exemplary women in the armed forces of Hanoi, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Thi Tuyet Nhung, Head of the Security Department, Office of the Hanoi Capital Command, has always proactively advised on the development and improvement of the system of leadership and guidance documents on document management, security, and archiving, contributing to making this field of the Hanoi Capital Command increasingly orderly and effective, becoming one of the exemplary units of the entire army. Not only has she excellently fulfilled her professional duties, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Thi Tuyet Nhung has also pioneered innovation and the application of technology, gradually promoting digital transformation in document management, security, and archiving.
In reality, despite holding different positions, the female officers and members of the Women's Union in the agencies and units under the Hanoi Capital Command always uphold a high sense of responsibility, proactively overcome difficulties, and successfully complete their assigned tasks, contributing to building a strong and comprehensive armed force in the Capital.
This further motivates officers and soldiers to work with peace of mind.
Besides successfully fulfilling their professional duties, the Women's Associations at all levels within the Hanoi Capital Command have continuously innovated the content and form of their activities, turning emulation movements into a driving force to motivate officers and members to strive, train, and contribute.
Lieutenant Colonel Do Thi Van Ha stated that a highlight of the association's work in recent times has been the close alignment of emulation movements with the political tasks of each agency and unit, avoiding formality and ensuring practicality and effectiveness. "Through activities such as propaganda, traditional education, building happy families, protecting the environment, and caring for the lives of members, the awareness and responsibility of cadres and members have continued to improve, contributing to building an increasingly strong association," Lieutenant Colonel Do Thi Van Ha shared.
Accordingly, the Women's Association of the Hanoi Capital Command has extensively implemented the emulation movement "Women in the Army unite - innovate, successfully complete tasks, build happy families, worthy of the name of Uncle Ho's soldiers"; the movement "Women in Hanoi actively study, work creatively, build civilized and happy families"; the campaign "Building families with 5 no's and 3 clean's" along with many other practical activities.
In addition, community-oriented models and movements have been maintained and effectively promoted. Responding to the "Tree Planting Festival in memory of President Ho Chi Minh," women's organizations within the Command participated in planting over 1,000 trees at their agencies, units, and local areas. The "Plastic Bag-Free Saturday" movement was also widely implemented, attracting a large number of members to participate in environmental sanitation activities and waste collection, contributing to building a green, clean, and beautiful unit landscape.
Through practical and meaningful emulation movements, women's work at the Hanoi Capital Command has become increasingly in-depth and substantive, contributing to building a strong military rear base and providing further motivation for each officer and soldier to work with peace of mind and successfully fulfill their nhiệm vụ of protecting the Capital in the new situation.
