Phu Tho has 6 OCOP 5-star products.

According to statistics from the Phu Tho Department of Agriculture and Environment, the province currently has 661 OCOP products rated 3 stars or higher, including 6 5-star products.

The OCOP program not only enhances the value of goods but also creates sustainable livelihoods for more than 5,000 rural workers in Phu Tho province as they shift their production mindset from traditional methods to high-quality, transparent goods with traceable origins. As a result, many traditional craft villages have been revived, and many agricultural product and specialty brands have been established.

Recent OCOP (One Commune One Product) ranking assessments in the province have met the requirements, including reports on raw material areas, labor conditions, the origin of ideas, local identity, and intellectual property. Participating entities have completed their dossiers, ensuring compliance with regulations. They have developed compelling product stories highlighting unique features. Initial attention has been paid to market development, trade promotion, and product advertising. Some products possess good aroma, taste, color, and design, reflecting local culture and customs, thus not only selling well in the domestic market but also being exported to demanding markets.
