In episode 4 of the Dandadan anime, Okarun and Momo team up to enter the tunnel with a plan to destroy Turbo Granny. Confident that this time will be easier than the battle with the aliens, Momo unexpectedly faces a giant Turbo Granny blocking the entrance.
Momo attacks by controlling bats, but Turbo Granny quickly counterattacks, destroying everything with her bizarre mouth-shaped eyes. Desperate, Momo demands that Okarun use her curse power. However, Turbo Granny restores the curse by returning Okarun's genitals, rendering him impotent. As Turbo Granny prepares to devour them both from two directions, Momo recalls her grandmother's teachings and challenges Turbo Granny to a game of tag to see if she is as fast as rumored.
Hurt, Turbo Granny stopped attacking and accepted the challenge. As soon as Turbo Granny counted to ten, Momo and Okarun immediately ran away. However, Okarun quickly realized that Momo had been caught, and that Turbo Granny's way of counting was also very strange. He accused Turbo Granny of cheating, but she coldly replied that there were no rules that required her to count correctly.

After school, Okarun runs into a nice girl, but Momo witnesses it and discovers that she was only pretending to be nice to tease Okarun.
