Fans rejoiced at PSG's victory.
Tens of thousands of fans poured into the streets of central Paris, the Eiffel Tower area, and especially the Parc des Princes stadium to celebrate the capital's team bringing home the Champions League trophy for the second consecutive time. PSG defeated Premier League champions Arsenal 4-3 on penalties after the two teams drew 1-1 in regular time. Coach Luis Enrique also became the fifth coach in history to win all three European Cups, the first being in 2015 with Barcelona.
