According to Nguyen Van Hoa, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ninh Thuan province, the "Ninh Thuan Culture and Tourism Day in Da Nang 2024" will include many unique and attractive activities. These include an opening ceremony with artistic performances; songs about Ninh Thuan, my homeland; demonstrations and hands-on experiences in Cham pottery making and brocade weaving; performances of traditional Cham and Raglai musical instruments… Along with that, there will be 50 booths showcasing and introducing the beauty of culture and tourism, unique and distinctive destinations and scenic spots; OCOP products, local specialties and distinctive cuisine. Artisans will demonstrate their skillful artistry in pottery making, brocade weaving, and traditional product crafting; performances of Chapi musical instruments, stone instruments, Cham dance, Ghi Nang drums…
Ninh Thuan boasts a unique Cham culture with folk songs, dances, traditional crafts, customs, and typical religious rituals such as: the Katê Festival; the My Nghiep handcrafted brocade weaving; the ancient Bau Truc Cham pottery, the oldest in Southeast Asia, inscribed by UNESCO on the List of Intangible Cultural Heritage in Need of Urgent Safeguard; the Po Klong Garai Tower and Hoa Lai Tower, recognized as Special National Monuments...
Ninh Thuan boasts a diverse and rich marine, forest, and coral reef ecosystem, with wild and romantic natural landscapes and numerous historical and cultural relics. It also has two national parks, Phuoc Binh and Nui Chua, which are characterized by pristine forests with diverse and abundant plant life. Nui Chua National Park is recognized by UNESCO as a World Biosphere Reserve. Vinh Hy Bay is classified as a National Scenic Landscape and is one of the eight most beautiful bays in Vietnam. The year-round warm and sunny climate allows Ninh Thuan to develop valuable crops and livestock… These are the conditions for the province to develop, attract tourists, and quickly make tourism a leading and sustainable economic sector in the future.
According to the Vice Chairman of the Ninh Thuan Provincial People's Committee, Nguyen Long Bien, the province prioritizes the development of three main product groups: four distinctive products, four novel products, and four supplementary products. Specifically, the distinctive product group includes: beach resort and experiential tourism, Cham heritage cultural tourism, high-tech agricultural tourism, and ecotourism associated with the Nui Chua World Biosphere Reserve. The novel product group includes Cat-Muoi exploration and entertainment tourism, wildlife hunting tourism, railway experience tourism, and health and wellness tourism. The supplementary product group includes community tourism, entertainment and culinary tourism, renewable energy production tourism, and tourism trade.
The province has also issued many preferential policies to attract investors; at the same time, it focuses on planning and implementing plans, and promoting tourism.
