In order to promote and introduce Quang Ngai tourism and stimulate the development of domestic tourism, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has sent a document to departments, agencies, and localities encouraging officials, civil servants, and employees to choose to experience domestic tours within the province.
The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism encourages agencies, units, and people to choose to experience tours within the province that connect with historical and cultural sites, traditional craft villages, community tourism areas, rural tourism, ecological tourism, and coastal and island tourism.
Specifically, tours organized by licensed travel businesses in the province include visits to the Son My Memorial Site, My Khe Beach, Tinh Khe mangrove forest, Nghia Ha flower fields, Minh Duc Pagoda (Quang Ngai City); Go Co village, Sa Huynh salt fields ( Duc Pho Town); Binh Thanh village, Suoi Chi tourist area (Nghia Hanh); Yen cliff, Ca Cai lake (Binh Son); and Ly Son. Visitors come to explore the Suoi Chi Tourist Area in Hanh Tin Dong commune (Nghia Hanh district).
According to statistics from the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the total number of visitors to tourist areas and attractions in the province in March 2024 was estimated at 298,000, an increase of 35% compared to the same period last year. Of these, international visitors were estimated at 7,800, a 3.8-fold increase compared to the same period last year. Accommodation establishments served 89,000 visitors, including 4,200 international visitors. Revenue reached 198 billion VND, an increase of 28% compared to the same period last year.
In particular, along with promoting and encouraging intra-provincial tourism programs, Quang Ngai has attracted a large number of tourists from agencies, units, and schools to experience Quang Ngai's tourism products.
