The ceremony takes place on the 16th day of the third lunar month every year at An Vinh Village Temple, organized by the Festival Committee and the clans on the island. The ritual includes main parts such as the offering ceremony, the procession, and the launching of boats… to commemorate and express gratitude to the soldiers of the Hoang Sa Heroic Army of the past – those who, undeterred by danger, went to Hoang Sa and Truong Sa to plant markers and erect sovereignty monuments for the Fatherland.

The Khao Le ceremony is not only a spiritual activity but also an opportunity for locals and tourists to better understand the silent sacrifices of their ancestors in protecting the maritime territory. Through this, it contributes to fostering patriotism and raising awareness among today's young generation about preserving the sacred sovereignty of the sea and islands.
