"The National Assembly holds a concentrated meeting because the epidemic has been controlled and to ensure conditions for conducting meetings on personnel and voting on the contents of the session," said the secretary-general of the National Assembly.
He said that the National Assembly takes a week off between the two waves so that agencies have time to absorb, revise and complete the draft law and resolution after the National Assembly discusses the contents. As for the implementation of Resolution 43/2022 of the National Assembly on fiscal and monetary policies to support the program of socio-economic recovery and development, the Government sent documents late, so the agencies of the National Assembly did not have time to examine. Therefore, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly has not yet considered for comments, not included in the tentative agenda of the session.
Three drafts of the Law on Forces participating in the protection of security and order at the grassroots; Road traffic order and safety and the Road Law are waiting for the opinion of the Politburo. After that, the National Assembly Standing Committee will submit it to the National Assembly for consideration and decision. In case these three bills are added to the agenda, the session is expected to last for about 5 more days, ending on June 28.
Finance Minister Ho Duc Phuc proposed to the National Assembly Standing Committee to consider and add to the agenda of the 5th session a draft resolution on piloting the use of recurrent expenditures from the state budget for renovation and improvement. supply, expand and build new items in existing facilities and works.
National Assembly Chairwoman Vuong Dinh Hue disagreed with this proposal because the Government sent the dossier too late and did not have enough time for the National Assembly's agencies to verify.
