The planned inland port area has the advantage of multimodal connectivity, bordered to the north by National Highway 18, to the south by the Duong River, and to the east by the Binh Than Bridge interchange. The port's projected capacity is between 10 and 12 million tons of cargo per year.
A prominent feature of the planning task is the requirement to aim for green and smart standards: encouraging the installation of solar power on over 80% of roof area combined with storage systems; designing infrastructure suitable for electric trucks, electric barges, and automated loading and unloading equipment; domestic wastewater must be treated using biological technology for reuse, ensuring 100% of wastewater meets standards before discharge…
In terms of objectives, Chau Phong inland port will serve as a key import-export, storage, and distribution hub for industrial zones in the province and surrounding areas.
The establishment of Chau Phong inland port helps businesses optimize their supply chains, save costs, and create strong economic growth momentum for the Que Vo urban area in particular and Bac Ninh province in general.
