Quy Mong's reforestation efforts have reached 102% of the target.

Quy Mong commune was established by merging three communes: Y Can, Quy Mong, and Kien Thanh. It has a total area of ​​149.17 km2, with over 2,900 hectares of natural forest and a forest cover rate of 73.3%. By 2025, Quy Mong commune achieved many positive results in forest management, protection, and fire prevention and control.

Since implementing the two-tiered local government model, the Steering Committee for the Sustainable Forestry Development Program in Quy Mong commune, giai đoạn 2025 - 2030, has organized 10 awareness campaigns on forest management, protection, development, and fire prevention and control in the area; and integrated these campaigns into 15 village meetings, with 1,523 participants.

The main content of the propaganda focuses on legal documents related to forest management and protection, forest fire prevention and control, and afforestation and forestry development in the commune.

In 2025, the entire commune planted 676/630 hectares of forest, including 365.5/365 hectares of concentrated production forest and 310.5/265 hectares of scattered tree planting. Regarding cinnamon cultivation, the commune currently has 4,700 hectares, of which 551.9 hectares have been granted forest planting codes. The estimated annual harvest of dried cinnamon bark is 1,865/1,840 tons, further confirming cinnamon as a key crop that brings high economic value to the people.

In addition, the harvested timber from planted forests reached 46,200/46,000 m³, contributing to ensuring the supply of raw materials for processing and consumption in the market. Regarding the area of ​​Bat Do bamboo, the commune currently has 2,278 hectares; the harvested commercial bamboo shoots reached 20,700/20,630 tons, contributing to increased income and improved living standards for bamboo-growing households.
