When the music video for the song "Vietnam's Quintessence" was screened, with its proud lyrics, heroic melody, and polished visuals featuring dozens of prominent singers and artists representing various fields: Music, Film, Dance, Stage, and Contemporary Art, viewers and listeners were reminded of the music that had been played at major national events in 2025, such as the "Proud Vietnam" music festivals.
According to the organizers, the song aims to convey the message: "The unity of today's creators is the radiant cultural heritage of tomorrow." This is the latest composition by musician Nguyen Hai Phong after a long hiatus from writing music. The song stems from inspiration about the flow of Vietnamese identity and the desire to pass on national cultural values to the younger generation.
As one of the artists participating in the music video, singer Bui Lan Huong shared: “Rarely has a song been written about honoring the finest qualities of the Vietnamese people that is so beautiful and heroic. Participating in performing the song, I understand even more the meaning of the statement: Culture contributes to defining and building the enduring existence of a nation…”.
Director Kawaii Tuan Anh, who created this music video, said that choosing to tell the story through the image of a boy entering a museum and finding a magical box is a gateway to discovering "pieces of Vietnamese culture." Producer Nguyen Phan Giang added that "The Quintessence of Vietnam" is not a collection of isolated stories, but rather the combined strength of many sectors sharing a common aspiration: to honor and elevate Vietnamese culture on the global stage.
The 2025 Vietnamese Excellence Award is organized annually by Dai Doan Ket Newspaper in collaboration with ZOA Creative Media Co., Ltd. From 2025 onwards, the award will expand to a nationwide scale.
Journalist Chu Ninh, Head Representative of Dai Doan Ket Newspaper in Ho Chi Minh City, said that after the nomination period from October 15 to November 15, 2025, the 2025 Vietnamese Excellence Award received nominations that were not only diverse in category but also demonstrated high professional quality, serious investment, and a spirit of preserving and spreading Vietnamese identity in the digital age.
The Organizing Committee will announce the official list of nominees on December 12, 2025, and simultaneously open online voting for the public on the program's website and digital platforms until January 1, 2026, via the official website: tinhhoavietawards.vn and the TikTok platform: Tinh Hoa Viet Awards.
The final results will be determined by a combination of the Jury Panel, the Journalists' Panel, and public voting. The awards ceremony will take place in early 2026.
