Reviewing plans for handling surplus houses and land.

- On the afternoon of June 3rd, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Ngoc Sam chaired a meeting to hear reports on the implementation of inspections, supervision, and guidance for localities in constructing and deploying plans for handling and arranging surplus land and buildings in the province.

According to the Department of Finance, to date, decisions have been made to transfer 106 surplus land and property assets, while procedures are being finalized for the remaining 21. Regarding the 858 assets transferred to local authorities for management and processing, local authorities have developed exploitation plans for 690 of them.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Ngoc Sam requested that departments, agencies, and localities accelerate the process of arranging and handling surplus houses and land. He urged them to promptly resolve obstacles in determining prices, review and adjust planning, and finalize handling plans within their authority. He criticized four localities for delays in implementing the task. He requested the Department of Finance to strengthen supervision and guidance to ensure that the houses and land are put into effective use as soon as possible. Units must strictly adhere to weekly reporting requirements, promptly address difficulties and obstacles, and ensure overall progress.
