On the evening of December 7th, the first final round of Rap Viet Season 4 aired, attracting much attention from viewers.

Right from the start, MC Tran Thanh surprised everyone by announcing that Queen B and Dangrangto from coach Karik and BigDaddy's team would be unable to participate in the final round due to health reasons.

BigDaddy said about Dangrangto: "This is very sad news. Dang was a contestant I had high hopes for. Due to health issues, he couldn't participate."

For his part, Dangrangto's management company also released an official statement: "Dangrangto and the company have thought and considered this very carefully. However, due to health reasons, Dangrangto will have to be absent from the Rap Viet 2024 finals."

This news is causing a stir on social media. Many viewers are expressing regret because Queen B and Dangrangto were both strong contestants and considered strong contenders for the championship.

Some viewers even suggested that the producers had "staged" the final to pave the way for Manbo – Hieu Thu Hai's close friend – to win the championship. Currently, the organizers have not commented on these allegations.

Thus, the first final of Rap Viet Season 4, which aired on the evening of December 7th, only featured 7 contestants: Coolkid, Danmy, Manbo, Gill, 7dnight, Saabirose, and Hustlang Robber.

Coolkid chose a hip hop and trap music style with the title "Korean Idol".

Coolkid, the youngest contestant from Coach B Ray's team, was the first to kick off the final round. In this round, the rapper chose a hip hop style combined with trap to explore the theme of "Korean Idols," along with an unexpected collaboration with guest artist Changmo.

Coach Karik advised his junior: "You're doing everything very instinctively and according to a set pattern. You need to be more 'crazy.' That 'craziness' will stir up the audience more than doing everything in a specific order."

The second performance was by Saabirose from Coach Suboi's team. In this decisive round, the female rapper hopes to not only be a singer-songwriter but also a versatile artist, bringing unique and diverse styles to the audience.

Sababirose's performance about his mother, with its catchy melody, choreography, and star-like demeanor, showcased remarkable progress in his songwriting and performance skills.

Gill and Danmy scored points.

Contestant Danmy from coach Karik's team also made a good impression on the audience. Unlike Queen B, who comes from a purely rapper background, Danmy showed great effort in each round.

Danmy wants to spread positive inspiration about self-belief to female rap enthusiasts.

Danmy said that Rap Viet was the place that helped her prove her abilities and potential, as well as achieve the impossible. Therefore, with the confidence after the breakthrough round, she decided to choose a theme about her hometown, the city of red flamboyant flowers, something she had never tried before.

Ultimately, the performance made a good impression, with judge Thai VG expressing that she would be his "first choice" if he were a coach.

Gill continued to showcase his versatility with a different style at the Rap Viet Season 4 Finals.

Meanwhile, Gill, a strong contender from Coach B Ray's team, brought emotional moments to the stage with the support of guest artist Captain Boy and choreographer Dang Quan.

The contestant wanted to dedicate her song in the Rap Viet final to her father. This performance was a somber note in the otherwise colorful and vibrant performance that Gill had showcased in previous rounds.

Manbo is safe.

In Rap Viet season 4, 7dnight underwent a significant transformation in his career, boosting his confidence in his abilities.

In the final round, 7dnight chose to explore his personal story of years spent abroad. His performance of "Art" greatly impressed Changmo because of its unique and unheard-of style.

Manbo presented the theme "Responsibility" in the final round.

Manbo – the contestant who has attracted the most media attention this season – continues his familiar lyrical style, but this time against a gentle beat, with a more narrative and emotional tone instead of the edgy style of the previous round.

Coach Karik gave Manbo the theme "Responsibility". The rapper performed the role well, but compared to what the audience expected from his transformation in each episode, Manbo still left room for improvement.

Especially in the final round, Gill and Hustlang Robber proved themselves to be obstacles in Manbo's path to the championship.

In fact, Hustlang Robber's (B Ray's team) closing performance in the first final of Rap Viet Season 4 created a huge sensation.

After the contestants' performances, the organizers conducted a public voting round. The top prize will be decided by 60% of the audience vote and 40% of the judges' and coaches' votes.

In the next episode (scheduled to air on December 14th), the winner of Rap Viet Season 4 will be officially revealed.
