Rapper Double2T performed "À lôi" and "Theo anh về bản" for 20,000 students attending the 2024 Career Guidance and Admissions Counseling Fair, held on the morning of March 17th at Hanoi University of Science and Technology.
The unexpected presence of the "authentic mountain dweller" from Tuyen Quang at the opening ceremony added to the lively atmosphere of the festival.
The male rapper sent greetings to the 20,000 contestants and performed two familiar songs. "Oh , follow me back to the village !" Many contestants present cheered, excitedly, and rapped along to the lively rhythms.

During the Q&A session with the contestants, Double2T jokingly asked: "Does anyone want to come home with me and be my wife?", "Is there anyone here who is Double2T's younger sister?", "Does anyone want to come back to my village with me?", which made many young people excitedly exclaim and answer "yes" loudly.
Double2T said that he stayed up until 3 am last night and woke up early this morning to come here. Although he was quite tired, seeing the enthusiastic and energetic faces of the students made all the fatigue disappear.
Speaking to Tuoi Tre Online , Double2T confided that coming here brought back a part of his own memories.
The 90s-born rapper recalls his past self, at this time, also being in the phase of "thinking about his future." However, back then, where Double2T lived, there weren't audition events like this.

Double2T said: "Some students already know what profession they like and what kind of person they want to become in the future, but there are also those who are confused and unsure of what they like or want. Therefore, events like this are incredibly valuable."
"There are many paths to success. Double2T wishes all students find their own path and remember to succeed," the rapper advised.
Previously, in an interview with Tuoi Tre newspaper , the artist said that in his senior year of high school, his parents saw that he had a talent for music and guided him towards studying music education, so that he could become a music teacher later on.
However, at that time, he felt that studying music didn't offer a secure future. Confused, and seeing the abundance of forests in his hometown, he decided to take the forestry exam to become a forest ranger, but he failed.
With the doors of university temporarily closed, Double2T decided to pursue vocational training to save time and money.
Rap Viet was a turning point that brought the name Double2T to the attention of the audience.
However, Double also acknowledges that the lack of formal musical training is a significant disadvantage for him in pursuing his passion.
"Besides studying, there are other paths to success, but the road may be longer," he expressed.
The 2024 Career Counseling, Admissions and Guidance Fair is organized by Tuoi Tre newspaper in collaboration with the Department of Higher Education (Ministry of Education and Training), the General Department of Vocational Education (Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs), and Hanoi University of Science and Technology, with the support of Vingroup Corporation.
This year's event features approximately 280 booths offering counseling, admissions, and career guidance.
