(NLĐO) - "New Generation Students" brings together 8 competing teams from both the North and South of Vietnam, representing the unique colors, personalities, and strengths of Vietnamese students.

On the afternoon of October 30th, Vietnam Television announced that from November 9th, 2025, the reality TV show "New Generation Students" will officially return to VTV3 with a completely revamped format.

Following the success of the 2023 and 2024 seasons, "New Generation Students" 2025 aims for two main goals: to enhance students' academic experiences, skills, and teamwork; and to create an engaging television platform that connects young audiences with the innovative spirit of Generation Z.

According to journalist Phan Long, Deputy Head of the Culture and Entertainment Department of Vietnam Television, the competition rounds have been redesigned to challenge not only knowledge but also the students' ability to organize, implement projects, and their courage to take risks in real-life situations. Specifically, the rounds include: Identity Arena, Sports and Talent Arena, Reality Arena, Courage Arena, and the National Finals Arena.

The two criteria of drama and entertainment are showcased through competitive rounds, debates, investment pitches, and team challenges. Teams are encouraged to be creative in their project presentations, rather than simply giving presentations as before. In addition, the combination of news reports, behind-the-scenes footage, and judge interactions helps viewers gain a deeper understanding of each team, while also enhancing the program's appeal and emotional impact.

Professor Tran Xuan Bach, Vice President of the Vietnam Young Doctors Association and representative of the judging panel for the "New Generation Students" 2025 competition, stated that this is one of the rare platforms where competing teams and universities, with their unique identities, can be creative, interact with each other, inspire each other, and train each other to continuously improve the quality of their performances.

...and the "all-around rookie" lineup will accompany the "new generation of students".

This year's program also boasts the appeal of the MC duo Khánh Vy and Quang Bảo, rapper Double2T, and a lineup of "all-around talented newcomers," promising to create a powerfully inspiring space that connects academia, creativity, and youthful energy.

Among them, the 11 most outstanding artists from the All-Round Rookie program will become special companions for the new generation of students in 2025. During this journey, these "Rookies" will work with students in the Southern region to spread meaningful messages from various projects, inspire positive living, and awaken a spirit of commitment and dedication to the community.

The 2025 New Generation Students competition brings together 8 teams from 8 leading universities: Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam, School of Management and Business - Vietnam National University, Hanoi, Hanoi Law University, Hanoi University of Architecture (Northern region); Yersin University, Lac Hong University, Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics and Finance, Ho Chi Minh City University of Social Sciences and Humanities (Southern region).
