The Vietnamese-Korean co-production film "Bring My Mother Away " had its official premiere and press conference in Ho Chi Minh City on the afternoon of July 29th.

On the Vietnamese side, the main actors, including Hong Dao, Tuan Tran, Juliet Bao Ngoc, etc., were present and interacted with the press and media. Meanwhile, on the Korean side, director Mo Hong-jin and actor Jung Il-woo also participated in promotional activities.
The appearance of Jung Il-woo, the actor affectionately nicknamed "Vietnamese son-in-law" by the audience, received much attention.
In "Bringing My Mother Away ," Jung Il-woo plays Jeong-min, a gentle, kind, and deeply loving Korean husband. Alongside Juliet Bao Ngoc, his character brings sweet and poignant moments, helping to recreate the most beautiful period in the life of the character Le Thi Hanh.

The actor said that in the film, his character is Korean and there are very few lines of dialogue in Vietnamese.
However, in a scene with his co-star Bao Ngoc, he suggested to the director that a line of dialogue in Vietnamese be added: "From now on, I will like you." This placement made the interaction between the two feel natural and intimate.
As someone who shares scenes with Jung Il-woo, Bao Ngoc revealed that during the preparation for the role, she spent a lot of time learning Korean because most of her lines in the film are in this language.

At the premiere, the two main characters, Hong Dao and Tuan Tran, received many questions because their roles were central to the story.
According to Tuan Tran, Hoan in "Bringing Mother Away" is completely different from his previous roles. The character Hoan faces many difficulties, from his family circumstances to deep emotional wounds.
"The character Hoan is more mature than in my previous roles," Tuan Tran said.

Actress Hong Dao said that making the audience laugh or cry is equally difficult. With this role, her biggest challenge was how to fully express the inner turmoil through her eyes in each scene.
At the press conference, director Mo Hong-jin stated that from the scriptwriting stage, he always aimed to create a film that resonated with the Vietnamese character: "No matter how difficult the circumstances, they always choose to stand by each other."
The film "Bringing Mother Abandonment" is rated K (films permitted to be shown to audiences under 13 years old with the condition that a parent or guardian is present).
The film will have early screenings from 6 PM on July 30th and 31st before officially releasing in theaters nationwide from August 1st.
