A bustling atmosphere awaits visitors during the spring festival.

During the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026, in addition to domestic tourists, Khanh Hoa is expected to welcome many international visitors from South Korea, China, Russia, Kazakhstan, and other countries. Therefore, many tourist areas in the province have actively prepared new products and decorations to serve visitors celebrating the spring festival and the New Year.

From the end of January, many tourist areas and attractions in the province have been decorating and developing new attractions to welcome visitors. At the Vinpearl - VinWonders Nha Trang tourist complex (Hon Tre Island), thousands of new Tet flower pots have been planted, and Tet-themed miniature landscapes have been beautifully decorated. During the Tet holidays, visitors will be immersed in a tulip festival with tens of thousands of vibrant flowers; lively mini-shows; food stalls with authentic Tet flavors; and traditional games that bring families together… Especially during this time, VinWonders Nha Trang is launching three new entertainment masterpieces: Festival Hill, the Kingdom of Sea Gods Aquarium, and the Continuous Whirlwind – igniting the spring travel inspiration for visitors to Hon Tre Island.

Tourist areas such as Orchid Island, Yang Bay Tourist Park, Galina Lake View, and Truong Son Craft Village have created many scenic spots and planted flowers to create beautiful landscapes. Notably, the Nha Trang Traditional Craft Village organizes the "Traditional Tet Festival" with the theme "Preserving Vietnamese Tet - Building the Future". Visitors can experience traditional Tet with activities such as: erecting the Tet pole, making Tet cakes and sweets, the year-end worship ceremony, lion and dragon dances, folk games, boat races, and ao dai fashion shows. The outdoor live show "Legendary Light" presents musical and dance performances with traditional cultural colors. The Vietnamese Tet space also allows visitors to immerse themselves in the Tet flower market with its vibrant spring colors and Tet goods and local products; and enjoy Tet cuisine with handcrafted dishes and cakes prepared by local artisans and chefs.

To welcome the Year of the Horse (Bính Ngọ), hotels and resorts in Nha Trang have planned various activities to celebrate the Lunar New Year. As usual, Champa Island Nha Trang organized the "Making Banh Tet, Returning to Traditional Tet" program on the afternoon of February 14th and celebrated the Lunar New Year on the second day of Tet with lion dances, calligraphy, lucky money envelopes, animal circus acts, and traditional games. Resorts in the Bai Dai area (Cam Lam) such as Radisson Blu Resort Cam Ranh, Alma, The Anam Cam Ranh, Ana Mandara Cam Ranh… organized many programs with a strong Vietnamese Tet flavor. Alma Resort was bustling with activities from February 16th to 21st in its 30-hectare space. The centerpiece of the activities was the Tet Village – a space rich in Vietnamese cultural identity. Here, visitors could wear elegant ao dai (traditional Vietnamese dress), make their own lanterns, paint conical hats, experience wood carving, and play traditional games. Throughout the Lunar New Year week, lively lion and dragon dances bring good luck wishes to visitors. Families can also participate in making lucky money envelopes, wrapping banh chung (traditional Vietnamese rice cakes), flying kites, playing bingo, bamboo pole dancing, requesting calligraphy, and making clay figurines.

The Anam Cam Ranh resort offers a complete Tet (Lunar New Year) celebration from February 16th to 22nd with a series of special activities. The Lang Viet restaurant serves a traditional family feast with authentic home-cooked dishes, recreating the flavors of Tet from the past. During the Tet holidays, The Anam Cam Ranh hosts lion dance performances to usher in a lucky new year; calligraphy demonstrations… The Tet atmosphere is further enlivened by activities such as making banh chung (traditional rice cakes), banh thuan (traditional rice cakes), and to he (traditional toys). Children can participate in activities like making lucky money envelopes, weaving coconut leaves, and flying kites. A culinary highlight is the traditional "Tet Market" buffet from the evening of the 3rd day of Tet at Lang Viet. At Radisson Blu Resort Cam Ranh, on New Year's Day, a vibrant dragon and lion dance parade will pass through the resort. Resort General Manager Shaun Wheeler will present lucky money envelopes as a token of appreciation to valued guests. Radisson Blu Resort Cam Ranh will offer a range of activities for multi-generational families, from calligraphy classes at dawn and traditional games to arts and crafts activities for children.

Besides tourist areas and attractions, many travel companies have stepped up investment and improved the quality of their products with many attractive offers. With a forecast of a high increase in tourists visiting Khanh Hoa during this year's Tet holiday, tourism management will be strengthened.

Mr. Nguyen Van Hoa, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, said that during the Tet holiday, the department will coordinate with functional forces to strengthen inspections of tourism activities in the province to ensure that tourists experience the highest quality services; at the same time, it will strictly handle organizations and individuals who violate regulations on tourism activities.
