This morning, September 5th, all schools from preschool to primary, secondary, and high school in Ho Chi Minh City enthusiastically held opening ceremonies, officially welcoming the new school year 2024-2025.

The weather on the morning of September 5th in Ho Chi Minh City was cool and pleasant, with no rain, making it ideal for holding a solemn and impressive opening ceremony for the students. The ceremony was brief but included all the necessary rituals: welcoming new students, flag raising, reading the letter from General Secretary and President To Lam to the education sector on the occasion of the opening of the 2024-2025 school year, the opening speeches by the school's management board, and the ringing of the school bell. In Ho Chi Minh City this morning, Mr. Nguyen Van Nen, Member of the Politburo and Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, attended the opening ceremony at Le Hong Phong High School for the Gifted. Secretary Nguyen Van Nen congratulated the teachers and students of the school, and presented flowers and certificates of merit to outstanding students who were directly admitted to universities.
