Beyond providing external support, this year's "Supporting Students During Exams" campaign also provided timely assistance to students from disadvantaged backgrounds.
Typically, the Youth Union of the Party agencies in Ca Mau province directly awarded 4 scholarships (each worth 500,000 VND).
The Youth Union of the Provincial Party Agencies awarded a scholarship to support Le Thi Ngoc Trinh (Class 12G, Ly Van Lam Secondary and High School).
Receiving this support, Le Thi Ngoc Trinh (Class 12G, Ly Van Lam Secondary and High School) was moved: “The care from the teachers and benefactors gives me more motivation to strive for high results. After this exam, I will save the scholarship money to prepare for my studies at university, helping my family worry less about the expenses.”
Teacher Tran Nguyen Hoang Phuong Vy (Nguyen Viet Khai High School) checks the list and waits for information to be ready to support the students.
Besides the volunteers' blue uniforms, the dedication of the teachers was also a great source of encouragement. At Examination Point No. 3 (Ca Mau High School, An Xuyen Ward), the image of teacher Tran Nguyen Hoang Phuong Vy (Nguyen Viet Khai High School) checking and verifying the attendance and exam status of each of the 130 students moved many parents.
Only when the examination hall gates close and the students have safely entered the examination rooms can the examiners breathe a sigh of relief.
The first candidate to leave Examination Point 001, located at Phan Ngoc Hien Specialized High School (An Xuyen Ward), was filled with excitement amidst the cheers of volunteers.
Besides the pressure of the exams, students also face the challenge of sudden early-season rains. As soon as the weather turns bad, the "blue-uniformed soldiers" promptly unfurl umbrellas and hand out raincoats to students and parents.
Ms. Luong Ngoc Lua (Phong Luu 2 hamlet, Tan Hung commune) emotionally shared: “I was watching my child finish the exam, but it was raining heavily. The volunteers proactively brought raincoats and drinking water right to my place. This activity is so practical, showing thoughtful care for the health of both parents and students.”
Handing out raincoats, hastily opening umbrellas at the school gate, and offering words of encouragement and support helped alleviate parents' anxieties on exam day.
Parents receive raincoats from the exam support team.
For the volunteers, accompanying the students during these special days is also a memorable experience.
Ms. Ma My Khanh, Secretary of the Youth Union of Hamlet 6, An Xuyen Ward, shared: "Every exam season, we want to contribute our youthful energy to inspire and motivate our peers to overcome challenges."
"Despite various unforeseen situations, this will be an unforgettable memory of my youth," shared Ly Duy Linh (a volunteer at the Ho Thi Ky High School exam center, An Xuyen ward).
Encouraging the "Exam Support Teams"
On the first day of the exam support campaign, the Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau province and Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, Pham Tuan Tai, visited, encouraged, and presented gifts to the youth volunteer teams at schools in Vinh Loi commune, Hoa Binh commune, and Bac Lieu ward.

Besides ensuring the security and safety of the exam, the image of police officers and soldiers wholeheartedly assisting and supporting candidates has left many positive impressions.
From early morning, at 35 examination sites across the province, volunteer youth teams from the Ca Mau Provincial Police simultaneously deployed, coordinating with local youth union members to carry out many practical activities. The officers distributed free drinking water; assisted in safekeeping phones and personal belongings; guided candidates through the procedures; and helped candidates with special circumstances.
At the Ho Thi Ky High School examination center (An Xuyen ward), a heartwarming story touched many hearts. Candidate Le Dang Khoa (Class 12A6, Ho Thi Ky High School), who had a broken leg and faced significant difficulties in moving around, received special assistance from the police force on duty ensuring security and order.
Dang Khoa said emotionally, "Initially, I was a little worried, but the police officers provided dedicated support, escorting me into and out of the exam room. It was also much easier for my father who came to pick me up."
Candidate Le Dang Khoa (Class 12A6, Ho Thi Ky High School) was assisted by police officers in leaving the examination hall.
For example, Ngo Diem My, a student at the exam center at Nguyen Viet Khai High School (Ly Van Lam Ward), suffered from a leg injury and was promptly assisted by the exam support team and traffic police, who safely escorted her to the exam room.
"I was very worried about the difficulties in getting around. I am very grateful for the police officers' support from the school gate all the way to the exam room," shared Ngo Diem My.

Along with providing support, the traffic police force (of the Provincial Police) played a pivotal role in ensuring traffic order and safety at examination sites and on key routes.
Task forces were deployed early to regulate traffic, reroute vehicles, minimize congestion, and create favorable conditions for candidates to arrive at the examination sites on time.

In particular, during periods of unfavorable weather conditions, including heavy rain, traffic police used specialized vehicles to assist many candidates who encountered problems on their way to the exam centers.
Captain Bien Van Xe, Deputy Head of the General Staff Team, Traffic Police Department (Provincial Police), said: "We always maintain a large number of personnel on duty at examination sites and on key traffic routes. When we detect candidates facing difficulties or at risk of being late for the exam, our forces will promptly provide support using all appropriate measures to ensure they arrive at the examination site on time."

This year's exam also saw many effective support models for candidates, such as at the exam site at Cai Doi Vam High School (Cai Doi Vam commune), where the "Free Drinking Water," "Free Phone Calls," and "Free Motorbike Taxi" models were implemented by the commune police force and volunteers.
Nguyen Tuong Vi, a student from Cai Doi Vam High School, excitedly said: “Thanks to the police officers’ support in transporting me, I arrived at the exam site safely and on time. Their encouragement helped me feel less stressed and much more confident.”
